I Saved A Bunch Of Pictures From Facebook Taken By A Professional Photographer. When I Go To Print

How to print facebook pictures from walmart?

Right-click the photo on Facebook and choose "Save picture as." Choose a file location you will remember. Then, either copy the photo to a flash drive/memory card or go to Walmart.com's Photo Center to upload and order the photo.

How do I print off a picture from facebook or my email?

For a valentines day gift, theres a picture that my friend has up on facebook that I really want to frame for my boyfriend. I have the photo paper you need to go in the printer, but i didn't know once I copied it or she sent it to me in an attachment what I do with it from there? I don't want to have to buy some expensive program. And obviously I'm really bad with computers :) Thanks guys!

Are professional photos worth the expensive prices?

If you want professional results, yes, they are absolutely worth it.

These are what professional portraits look like:

Your boyfriend is obviously an amateur. There's nothing wrong with being an amateur, but if you want professional photos you're going to have to go to a pro. It's the same in every field. The photos you showed as examples are technically poor, and then butchered in editing on top of that. I'll avoid going into a detailed critique, because next to the examples I linked to, obviously you can see the difference.

If you decide to hire a pro, beware of all the "fauxtographers" out there. These are the people without any or little knowledge of photography, who see photography as an easy way to make money, so they pick up an entry-level DSLR, use a free online image editor, call themselves a professional, and put up some ads on CraigsList offering cheap sessions (usually around $75) including a cd of images. They're absolutely not worth the money, as most amateurs can achieve the same results.

If you're ever in any doubt as to whether a photographer is worth what they charge, feel free to email me from my profile with a link to their portfolio and what they're charging, and I'll give you my opinion.

Why do my photos keep printing off blurry at Walmart Photo Center?

If you are interested as to why you are having problems, here is the reason.

Facebook, or any online site, or any image on a computer, only needs a resolution (pixels per inch) of 72. A print, on the other hand, needs typically 300 pixels per inch for a quality print. When you take photos from FB, you only have the 72ppi version of the photo, and that is too low a resolution for a good print. The fact that your photos look ok on your computer or FB means nothing, because of the far less resolution required.

For good prints, you have to print the ORIGINAL files from your camera. You cannot take photos from a website or FB and get a good print.

You should NEVER, repeat NEVER use FB as a storage place for your photos. Not even considering it is nothing you can depend on in years to come, the quality of the photo is degraded so that you cannot make prints, as you have seen. Store your original photos from your camera on either CD, or flashdrive, or an external hard drive. Use FB if you want to share photos, but never as an only place to keep your photos. Also, do not keep all your photos on your computer hard drive. Sooner or later you will lose them all. Keep them, as said, on external storage media.

Cant upload pictures to facebook using a Nikon D5100?

It seems a shame to use a great camera like a D5100 to record low-resolution images!

Make sure it is set to JPEG fine and not RAW images and then use software like The Gimp (free) or Adobe Photoshop Elements (very good but not free!) to downscale the images. That way you still have a good high-resolution image for when you want to crop or print it, but you can still put the pictures on facebook.

Alternatively you could use flickr online to store your high-res pictures and automatically post those to facebook.

Can you JUST upload professional pictures to sites such as Facebook?

****Well it's photos from Portrait Innovations, and I have had pictures done at Sears where they give you the CD and you can print off the copyright form so that you can have them printed at Walgreens and such, but Portrait Innovations doesn't have that form on their CD, and like I said, I'm just uploading them so I really don't *think* it'd be a problem since there's no money being gained for anyone anywhere....but I'm really not sure since it is technically their property.

How do I download pictures from a phone and print them at Walmart?

if you are using self-services Kiosk, all you need is going there and plug your phone to download photo you wanted to print to Kiosk machine. It is lot quicker than using App, so I just plug phone there. Many of Walmart locations no longer have photo lab clerk (if your local store does not show up for online print order pick up locations, they do not have clerk), so in that case, you can just go over there, and plug your phone and pick whatever option available to print. If there are clerk, you really should order it online, or download your photo to USB thumb drive or SD card, and give to clerk to print. It is much faster that way than using App (some of walmart store got terrible signal reception anyway to make App work, another reason I do not use App at my local storeā€¦)
