I Should Wear Size 30 Pants. How Many Pants Sizes Bigger Can I Wear And Not Look Ridiculous Still

Why are womens pants sizes different than mens?

Because men's pants come in lengths and most men wear their pants about the same place. If you see guys wearing really low pants they are either 1) really baggy and way too big, or 2) really tight and probably were bought in the girls section.
Women's pants are not sized 1, 3, 5, junior's pants are. Women's sizes are 2, 4, 6, etc. Women's clothing is a bigger industry than men's clothing so they needed easier sizing. Example, if I asked you right now what your waist size is in inches would you be able to tell me? And even if you were able to tell me, no one wants to go shopping for a pair of size 28 or 30 jeans. That just sounds fat. So the clothing industry came up with easier sizing. However, more expensive jeans are still sized in inches.

Snowboarding pants as everyday wear?

I've read a couple different questions on here about wearing snowboarding pants as regular everyday wear. The only real drawback i can find is that they can be a bit loud and that they would no long be as waterproof. No offense, but i never intend to go snowboarding since the closest area is about a hour and a half away. So the waterproofing isnt really the biggest issue to me. Also, it appears that there is no real size in numbers, so what size would a person that wears 30,31 in jeans wear?

So anyways, what are some of the drawbacks from wearing snowboarding pants as everyday wear?

These are the snowboarding pants i was thinking of getting by the way

I don't know how to read men's pants size?

men's sizes are much simpler then womens are

the first size is the waist size, literally the circumfrence of his waist, so just get a tape measurer, the second is the inseem

the inseem is the length of the pants from the crotch region to the bottom of the leg

"my grandpa wears an xl" I dont think they make men's pants in small, medium, large... ect

edit: so take a tape measurer, and measure his pants, even if the tag says XL, it should have a waist measurement

If my bra keeps on going up , do i need a bigger size?

This is a classic example of your band size being way too big!!! If you're considering a 36B then I take it right now you are in a 34C? These two sizes are the same exact cup volume, with the 36 having a larger band and cups spaced further apart. If you're having this problem in the 34 size band, then going up to a 36 is just going to make it worse. Do you choose a larger pants size when your pants are falling down? No.

To find your smaller sister size you decrease the band by one and increase the cup by one. So a 34C would become a 32D. If the 32 is still too large then you need a 30DD...a little harder to find, but still doable. Nordstrom carries size 30 in band sizes, all the way up to a H or J cup (last I checked).

Signs that your bra band is too large:
Back sliding up
Straps falling off
Front/cups not sitting snug against your chest
Cups sitting too low

Signs that your cup is too small:
Front/cups not sitting snug against your chest
Spill over on either the sides, top, or both

The reason your straps are falling off starts all with the band. If your band is too loose this causes it to ride up, which causes your straps to loosen. And if you've tightened them too much this will cause shoulder pain. You may notice that the cups are sitting too low in the front. Here's a test you can do without using a measuring tape. If you can fit more than 1 finger under the center front of your bra, and more than 2 under the center back of your bra then it is too big. I've made this mistake all my life, before working with bras and getting a professional fitting. I always thought I was a 34...I'm not. I'm a 28 and I'm not stick thin. Most women in America are way smaller than they think. 34 is actually more of something you find on plus size women, not healthy women. And seeing as how you want to try a B cup means your breasts are not very full, which means you are probably far from being overweight.

I suggest you go to a seamstress for a bra fitting. Do not go to a department store unless you want to leave with less money and a bra that still doesn't fit! Here are a few stores that do NOT measure correctly: Nordstrom, Victoria's Secret, JCPenney. They all use the "add 4, 5 or 6 inch" rule and this is completely incorrect. You only add 2" to find your band size.

Should I, as a guy, wear bootcut or straight jeans?

I currently wear straight jeans, but a friend recently told me I should try bootcut jeans instead. What's best for my body type? I'm slim and 5'9" at 145lbs. My jeans are typically 30 waist and 30 length. I have some muscle definition but again, I'm slim. I've also heard that straight jeans can make feet look big, so I wear size 10-10.5 shoes, normally casual sneakers (think Puma).

Thanks for any help!

I need help understanding women's pants sizes?

the double digits in the 20's and 30's would be ur natural waist size, not ur hip and its a rounded number in sizing....so a size 2 would be a size 26...a 30 is a size 10....it goes like this...24=00 25=0 26=2 27=4 28=6 and so on...the girl above is wrong about a 25 being a 1-2...im for certain its the way i listed...here is the proof to show u lol...just so u can be for certain too.

just look at the numbering equals to above the area where u choose ur size and color...

If I buy a 16 in girls pants, what size would it be in women’s?

I'm a 5′6, 110lbs, 33 year old female.Disclaimer: if anyone feels inclined to ridicule me, you can keep your ‘skinny shaming’ to yourself. I was recently offered insurance for $30 a month because, after a thorough health screening, our insurance put me in a special elite, ultra healthy group.I fit both a girl's 14 - 16 and a woman's size 1 - 3. I find that different clothes brands size their clothes differently.I also find that women's pants are more shapely for the hips and the butt and they're longer in the legs.Girl's clothes tend to have a longer ‘ride’ or crotch area, which can sag a bit. This is not attractive. The back of girl's pants sit further up the back than woman’s pants. In addition to this, since girl’s pants lack the curve of women's pants, I find there to be some fabric that doesn't conform with the curve out my back. There's just an extra bulk of fabric in the back that sticks out. I have to either wear a belt (which looks silly all gathered up like that) or remove the top band, take in the sides, shorten the band, then sew the band back onto the pants. This can be extra tedious if the pants have belt loops because you have to adjust every-single-one….However, I enjoy girls pants because they're more cost effective - less money for a more quality product. I find the fabric of women's pants to be very thin which wears out quickly. Conversely, girl's pants have a denser fabric that keeps its shape after several hours of wear. I think companies put into account that girls play, so they need sturdier fabric. Girl's pants are also warmer.I hope this helps!
