I Smoked Weed For 8 Months And I Quit And I

I smoked weed 5 months ago, will I pass a drug test?

No one can be for sure about the bioavailability specifically in your system. However, based on scientific research and my personal knowledge I’ll try and provide some helpful info…You will not come back positive for THC if you have not smoked, eaten or otherwise consumed that component 180 days ago.Studies show even long term, daily use of marijuana, while dependent on how much THC is stored in your fat cells, does not linger longer than about 90 days in ways that will show positive on a standard drug test for marijuana with the standard 50m/ cutoff .I smoked daily for ten years and had to stop for work and it took me at 5’11/150 (Low fat content) exactly 74 days for me urine to be clean enough to pass drug test for marijuana.

How did you feel after you quit smoking weed?

My head felt lighter, my thoughts came easier, and I dreamed and dreamed; something I do not do when smoking marijuana.

How will I be affected if I smoked weed once a day for 8 months at 17, and if I quit now, will I experience long-term issues?

You shouldn't smoke weed that often at this young age, you can get quite some psychological problems like (social) anxiety or psychosis later. Your brain isn't fully developed yet and If you get those problems at your age, they might get ingrained deeply into your psyche and even harder to deal with than they are anyways. If you smoke, have breaks and be really careful to not become dependent on it. It's easier said than done to “ just stop smoking” after those 8 months, believe me. In my opinion and experience, smoking daily for an extended period slowly but surely minimizes the positive effects and maximizes the negative effects. I mean, I get it, it feels so good and stuff, but in the long run it's not worth it! You go from “damn I feel free, I feel creative, I feel good” to “damn I feel depressed (when I don't smoke), damn I'm addicted, damn I'm becoming a lazy and lethargic piece of meat” faster than you might expect. I know that there are lots of people who would tell you weed isn't addictive, but If you look closely, you realize that most of them are addicted themselves and fail to face this or just don't know what they are talking about. Yes, it's not the same as a heroin addiction, but when it comes to addiction, it's better to not have one ;)If you consider this smoking regime because you some way or an other want to escape your reality or feel better, Experiment with other, non psycho active stuff like working out, hustling, making music and art, yoga, meditation, or something like this. All those work hand in hand with weed too! But don't make weed your main thing in the long run..

I smoked marijuana daily for 8 months and quit about a month ago. Now I get insomnia and can’t eat as much. I have even lost weight. Are these effects of withdrawal? If so, how long will they last? I’m 19.

Yes they are the effects of withdrawal. I've been though this countless times and I wish quitting nicotine was just as easy. Here are some tips to get you through it.Do some sort of exercise. Walking, going out etc. It doesn't matter just do something that makes you exhausted. It will help you get to sleep.Force yourself to eat. You'll be hungry but you don't feel like eating. Just do it anyway. This last about 2 weeks after that it goes back to normal. This is the worst part.Other than that. It's only takes about 3 days for the craving (the want it feeling) to go. It's not hard especially when compared to every other drug.

Smoking weed again after quitting?

I've recently stopped smoking weed because of the side effects it had on me--depression, being paranoid, and feeling empty. Along with the physical side effects of always feeling tired and week.
Anyway.
After my body is fully detoxed, if i were to smoke again, maybe just on special occasion-would i not have a good high and will it just make me feel like i used to?

Please and thank you.

How does it feel to quit smoking weed for 90 days?

ive been smoking almost everyday for a year now. Im 17 so i understand people go through depressions at this time. And weed wasnt helping me as i wouldnt even get high anymore. I will just get relaxed and start thinking negative ****... How would i feel after 90 days. Im also runing everymorning like 3 miles. I do plan to smoke again but after my quitting time

8 months together, my girlfriend smokes WAY too much weed. It bothers me a lot, what do I do?

Just open up to her about how much it hurts u to see her destroy herself like that, but make sure u're having the conversation with her when she's sober. Tell her that if she doesn't cut down on it, you'll have no choice but to break it off with her, because like someone already said on here, the weed is becoming higher on her priority list than u are. Now u don't actually have to break up with her, but make her think so by giving her a bit of space to come to her senses
Another thing you might also want to do is showing her a bit of commitment by cutting down on ur own weed consumption. I'm not criticizing u or anything, believe me...I'm a weed smoker myself and I know how hard it is to cut down especially when u don't even smoke a lot, but think of it as something u're doing for her. Don't always oblige to smoke when u're with her. If she notices u're cutting down, she might feel encouraged to do so as well. Just my two cents bro, hope it helps. Good luck

Oohk so I smoked Marijuana like 2 times in 2 months..?

I smoked Marijuana 2 times in about two months and before that I used to smoke everyday. I also had gotten really sick about a week ago had diarrhea ( sorry for tmi) a week straight about 8 times a day... Had 4 bags of fluids pumped through my veins for lack of dehydration. Can I pass a drug test? Never had to pee for a job before. And I really need this job at WM.

I quit smoking cigarettes three months ago but am still coughing up black phlegm, is this normal? When will this go away?

Yes, it's normal.Smoking damages the cilia in your lungs-tiny hairs that serve to keep your lungs clean. They do this by catching foreign material and then slowly moving it back up and out of your lungs as you exhale, until it gets to the point where you can cough it up and spit it out of your body. Now that you have quit, the cilia in your lungs are starting to grow back and are now doing their job of cleaning out your lungs again. That's why you're coughing up so much trash-all of that junk had built up in your lungs with no way to get out before. It's a visible sign of your body cleaning itself up and healing the damage your smoking has done to it.It can take up to another 6–9 months before you stop coughing it up completely. But take heart-you really ARE getting over it.
