I Sold My Side By Side 4 Wheeler Today. The Guy Wrecked It Hours Later. Am I Ok

How long can I leave a deer ungutted before the meat goes bad?

You will be fine. You should skip school to find it, but you aren't doing anything unethical BECAUSE you plan to recover it after school. These guys are being way too hard on you. Anyone can lose a deer because of darkness. Some guys even wait until the next morning to track rather than messing up the trail in the dark. As long as you look for it until there is no possibility of recovery, or you find it. Then learn from your mistake and never make it again.

As long as the deer was not gutshot and it stays cold, the meat should be good. I have lost deer in the dark before and recovered them the next morning. Never had any problem with the meat. Of course, I searched for them in the dark. Perhaps you should try that next time. Blood is easy to see in the beam of a flashlight.

Can a 2 stroke run on pure gas without damage?

It can for a short time, but the oil in the fuel mix provides lubrication for the engine. Running it for a long period with straight gasoline is similar to running a 4 cycle engine without oil. Do it long enough, and the engine parts will overheat and seize up, or weld themselves together into an engine-shaped lump.

If you can still turn the engine over, you may not have damaged it severely. But you'll never know for sure without opening it up. If you're familiar with 4-stroke engines, maybe you can try this - pull the head, and look at the cylinder. Is is scored? I'm no expert or small engine mechanic, but that's where I would expect to see the first sign of damage. This quick inspection will cost you nothing more than a head gasket and some time.

Starting out with an R1?? guys only preferably?

Ok so my husband just bought a Yamaha R1 for his first bike. It was more of an impulse thing because everyone was telling him it didn't matter how he started out and of course like most guys you want your dream bike. Well after realizing that I WAS RIGHT and that it may be too much power starting out, he wants to go trade it out for an R6 or somehting in that nature to start with.. However they may not let him trade it since he already finalized his deal. With this being said, he has taken the ride safe course and plans on taking the experienced riders course as well where you bring your won bike to practice and he also plans on taking it VERY slow until he is 100% comfortable with his bike. If it is impossible to swap out the bike, can he learn just as easy with his R1? I need some comfort here. I have lost a lot of friends to this and I know my guy is a responsible man but accidents happen. So basically I ask, if there isn't another choice, is it possible to become just as comfortable with this bike? Thanks guys :)

Hunter Harassment? Need some advice.?

You probably should speak with an attorney in your area.

What does it feel like to be in a high-speed car crash? Did you hit a car, or were you hit by another car? Did you drive into a stationary object?

I was driving back from college for Thanksgiving break when I was involved in my serious wreck. It had rained the night before but the roads were not really wet anymore. I was on a highway and as I started to switch lanes I hydroplaned due to a small space between the concrete of the lanes (idk how it was big enough to even make me hydroplane). So one second I was going 75 MPH and the next thing I know I am sideways on the road. I look out my driver-side window and see that I am headed straight for a telephone pole. I quickly thought “Okay, this can only end two ways: (1) I will die from this impact or (2) I will be paralyzed from it.” I took a deep breath and said something that my friends and I would say in high school when trouble was a major possible outcome. So I outloud and calmly said “well I hope this works out.” Luckily my tires were on the shoulder, which was grass, and it was wet enough to allow my car to slide down enough to where I missed the pole by inches. Right after watching my car barely clear the pole I let out some air as relaxation then all of the sudden…my car flipped 4 times and slammed into a concrete drainage ditch. I remember seeing everything too. From the windshield braking, dirt flying around, to all my stuff getting tossed about. Upon impact I got out of the car feeling just fine and with only a surface scrape smaller than the size of a dime on a knuckle. The police and emergency crews were telling me I needed to sit down since I had to have broken something and was just in shock so I could not feel it. However, I didn’t get hurt at all (outside of the surface scrap). They said that the fact that I was so calm and chill during it saved my life as they had never seen anyone walk away much less uninjured from a wreck like that in the 25+ years they had been doing their jobs.

Have you ever been in a car accident?

I have. it was very bad. I was in a chevy, was hit by a 10-wheeled dump truck. I was passenger.

the car was totaled - when people came to help in the wreck they only saw my mom at first and it wasn't until they pried her out that they found me underneath. everyone thinks she tried to protect me because the car hit the passenger side, not the driver. she should have made it. I was 12

...she was declared officially dead the next day and I was in a coma for almost 3 months. I had to learn to walk and talk again and stuff but I'm ok now. it's been almost 5 years since
