i think youre in love with her, and if you tell her that, you have nothing to loose. she said you could trust her and she wouldnt judge you, just tell her about your dream and how you feel about her... be totally open with her. she might like you already... dunno :) just be open with her. shes there to listen.

Well I'm 13 and i have a crush on my best friend, and i kinda think she likes me back but im not sure. I met her about 2 or 3 months back and have liked her for almost 2 now. We got really close and she says i'm one of her two best friends. She calls me pretty and i tried on a dress and she said it looked really good on me, and she said i have the body to wear a bikin and i am the prettiest girl she knows. i didn't really think much of that, but every night she tells me she loves me before we logoff skype, and when we have sleepovers, she is very cuddly, she'll rub her feet with mine a lot and lay really close to me, and make sure we're touching in as many places as possible, and in the middle of the night i was laying on my stomach and she threw her leg over me, and she always tries to be close to me and when we're saying goodbye, she hesitates to hug me (you can see she's wanting to but she leaves it to me to decide.) She said that if i died, she'd kill herself. One day, at lunch, i got up to throw something away and when i came and sat back down, she turned to me and said, "I love you." randomly. Like in a really sweet but non cheesy voice. (This may seem totaly just friendly but she doesn't do it with anyone else, this isn't the type of person she is, its not typical for her, i even asked some of her older friends.) and the thing is, when i first liked her, she wouldn'tlet me anywhere near her and now she gets very close to me. I'm just afraid i'm making a big deal out of nothing and she doesn't like me at all. so what do you think?

Me and my best friend used to act very couple-y too, always flirting and teasing each other. I developed feelings for her, finally told her after hiding it for months, and although she said she didn't feel the same, she said that we'll still be exactly the same and be just as close as before I told her - she said nothing would change. And nothing did - we still teased, "flirted" (ie overly-sexual jokes and innuendos, that kinda thing), everything was basically the same. Sure, I felt uncomfortable at first, and she may have too, but it soon felt exactly the same as before, if not better. I was relieved to have been able to get it off my chest, and whenever I felt down or apologetic about it, she'd always be there to reassure me and help me out. I no longer have feelings for her, because I got over her. It was kinda sad to discover that she didn't feel the same after being convinced she did for so long, but I came to understand that she'd never feel the same about me, and so why should I waste my feelings on someone who I know will never return them? It just made me feel worse to keep loving her like that.Anyway. My point is, no matter how couple-y and such you guys act, it doesn't necessarily mean she likes you like that. Sometimes best friends (two girls) just like to mess around like that, because that's just who they are. Has she expressed very obviously that she's straight? Is she okay with gay people, or does she have very negative views on them? You'll probably want to know these things before you tell her that you have feelings for her. Also, if she doesn't already know that you're into girls like that, you need to tell her that and let her become comfortable with that knowledge before confessing that you love her. When you tell her you're not straight, if she responds like "Oh, me neither, I'm _" then you'll probably be okay with telling her however long after this that you have feelings for her. If she says "Oh, I'm straight" then you know she won't feel the same for you, and while you could tell her anyway to strengthen your friendship, it won't result in a relationship between you two.Best of luck!
