I Tried To Fill Out A Recovery Form For Lost Yahoo Email But The Wrong User Name Is Prefilled Out

Toontown account attached to closed Email Account.?

Well my toontown account (Which i forgot the user/pass of) was attached to my OLD email account... so I went to the Recover Member Names account and they sent the email (Which even proves the account has a toontown character attached) For the activation of the account in toontown. But then as i tried to sign onto my old email it sais it has been Closed and everything was deleted (Their is no way to get them back). But i want to play on my toontown account again :(. So is their anything I can do? (I cannot reactivate my email because it sais after 60 days the account cannot be reactivated with any of the data.) And it has been way over 60 days.. :(

Someone please help... I will choose best answer... Thanks in advance

I lost my yahoo mail password?

There is a 866 phone number but for mail issues Yahoo tells you to go to their support center online. You go there, fill out a form (need a 2nd email account), and someitmes you get a ticket and canned response, sometimes you don't. When you do get a 2nd followup, they want more security questions answere which are bogus questions. Lots of people have had their accounts hacked since Jan 2013 (link below). There is NO way I know of to talk to a live person. If you had a Hotmail (Outlook) account you can call and talk to a MS tech free, but not these guys. Anyone who gives you any info about "call this", "go to this link", is just trying to get themselves 2 more points for answering a question with a bogus comment. Sorry for the bad news, but you may have to give up your Yahoo email to the either. (even I get 2 points for this answer and it says I can answer 20 questions today). Good luck In response to Darcy below, his "answer" is the same thing. All paths lead to the same web form which no real person will respond to, and my customers don't have text. Nothing new here.

Is there a way to retrieve lost contacts and emails after my yahoo account has been hacked?

First you need to regain control of your account and reset your password and security questions with longer and stronger ones. A password should be at least 12 characters long with mixed symbols. (It only takes a few hours to crack ANY 8-character password.) Yahoo allows you to invent your own security questions so they are easier to remember, but make them ones that will not change - NOT 'My favorite ...'

When the password doesn't work and the security questions have been changed, go to https://edit.yahoo.com/forgotroot/

In case of a hacked Yahoo account, where you cannot sign in, (a changed password and/or secret questions), the Account Verification department offers ways to contact them:
1. Call 866-850-4303 toll-free (Open 7 days a week, 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. Pacific Standard Time) The line is usually busy, so be patient.

2. After filling in your ID and password as usual, click the proper category of 'I can't sign in' to send an email with all of the information an agent needs to respond within 12-24 hours.
- Give them your identity using your country, and the same alternate email address or mobile phone number and Security Questions and Answers that you provided during registration or the last time you edited. Knowing the approximate date when you set up the account also helps. You might also be asked for your birthday, ZIP or postal code at the time you last updated.
Check your alternate e-mail for a response too.

If the contents of the account were deleted, or the Address Book, act NOW! There is only 48 hours for recovery of the mail, and there are no guarantees. The Restore Help form depends on the mail you use. Read this Yahoo Help page first for details:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ym...

Classic Mail:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/cl...
Regular Mail:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/yahoomail/mail_restore.html

OR: Click Contact Us on the Help page, and sign in. Click the Yahoo! Mail Restore Help Form and fill it out.

NOTE: That request will delete all e-mails in the Inbox since the 'Restore' date, so keep moving these to another folder, or forward to another e-mail address. (or read and delete.)
(Check the Spam folder if there is no reply in your Inbox from a Yahoo! Technical Support Agent.)

How can I recover my Gmail password without a recovery phone number or email?

Generally, sites offer a question or two to answer in case we loose password and phone, which we generally find useless. Also recovery e-mails are to be added in this effect (i.e, for easy recovery).If you didn't add security questions to be answers, or recovery e-mails, then it can't be helped.But what you can do actually, is to create a new one (yeah, sounds hard, New password… new blablabla), and get to it's settings. And while there (sorry i don't remeber exactly), you can ask Gmail to redirect that Gmail account emails to your New Gmail account.This fixes issues for a lot of people.You could now share the old email adress, but to access its emails, you'll need the new account's access.

I forgot my yahoo password & secret question!!?

sorry, but if you don't know the secret question you will not be able to and Yahoo will not help. I have questioned this many times thru Yahoo. Below explains everything.

You can get a new password, a Yahoo! ID reminder, or both. If you forgot your Yahoo! ID or password, go to the Sign-in Problems page. https://edit.yahoo.com/forgot?login

If you forgot your Yahoo! ID, you need to provide three pieces of information so we can confirm your identity:

* Your birthday
* Your ZIP or postal code (at the time you created your Yahoo! account or when you last updated it)
* Country code (at the time you created your Yahoo! account or when you last updated it)

Be sure to provide the same information you gave the last time you registered for a new Yahoo! ID or password or the last time you updated your account.

If you forgot your password, you can create a new one. But first you’ll have to provide the following information so we can confirm your identity:

* Your Yahoo! ID
* Alternate email address, mobile phone number, or the answers to your secret questions

A Reset Your Password link will be sent to your alternate email address. Click the link and enter your new password in the Reset your password page.

If you entered your secret question incorrectly or forgot what you originally entered, for security reasons, we cannot tell you what your Yahoo! ID is or let you create a new password.

++++++++++++++++++++++++

If you are unable to comply with the above requirements you will have to create a new I.D.

Click this link and fill out the form to create a new account.

How can I recover my emails from my Gmail account?

I would imagine you have already deleted those emails from your trash, and basically you are on mercy of google to get those emails back.Good news is you would still be able to get back those emails, and the process is pretty simple to follow, but it may happen that not all of your deleted mails would be retrieved, heck you can still give it a shot.Step 1: Go to this link, My messages have gone missing and submit the form.Step2: You would get a mail from google, regarding what you need to do get back those deleted mails. The system imagines that your account was compromised and you need to recheck all the security credentials, and may need to change the password. I don’t think it is much of hassle. You would get a mail, something like this.Step 3: Once you are done with the security flow of securing your account, all is needed to run through the form again, and specify what mails you would like to recover. Once done, you would get another email from google support team, which basically reads your deleted emails are restored :)Voila, all your deleted mails have been restored. It may happen that some of the mails with late timestamps would not be recovered in that case, you could rely on your memory.

How do I reset my Gmail password when I don't remember my recovery information?

There must be something you remember about it, you just need to think of it while trying to reset, just go for login, enter email and tap next, click forgot password,option 1: enter any password that you remember from history of that account, you can get access after little time and security questions.option 2: try to use email or phone, the email that you added as a recovery to this email when you made this email, if you forgot what’s that email, just aswer any question like when did you create this email, it will ask you about sending pasword reset by recovery email and it will mention recovery email in ****p@gmail.com, like this.Option3: Enter any email you think may have associated with it, if it’s not you will be notified by email to that email, then try other email.Still Can’t Login? try to hack it, try to enter easy passwords, Read this post on how you create easy passwords, you may memorize what your password was by reading this;50 Passwords that will get you hacked

I can't access my own Yahoo email account?

Someone had compromised one of my yahoo accounts and I contacted customer service to inform them spam mail had been sent from it by someone else.

When I tried to sign in I was asked to change my password (which I had already done anyway). I changed the password again and then was asked to answer security questions and have forgotten the correct answers as the account was set up some years ago. It then said to use my alternative email address that was registered on the account and I would be sent a code. The problem is that email address is not longer in existence as the providers now charge for the service (if t used to be a free service) and so cannot access that email. The other way was to have a code sent to a mobile phone but I never registered one as I was concerned about security.

I tried to guess the answers to the security questions which has resulted in me getting locked out of my account because I got it wrong too many times.

I don't know how I can ever get back in my account now.
