Moving from Seattle to Maui?
My husband has a job offer in Maui. We are unsure of the compensation yet (that is being discussed tomorrow in a skype conversation). The job itself is a great opportunity for him, but we are unsure of what this company can offer as far as salary. They are fairly small. We have never moved away from our family, whom we are very close to, but we don't want to pass up a new adventure or opportunity either. I just wanted some advice from anyone that has made this move before and what it takes to live there. I'm a sunshine girl so I know environment wise I would love it. We also have three boys under the age of 7 to take into consideration. Does anyone know the cost of groceries, health insurance, rent, utilities? I want to gather as much info as I can before we make any decisions. Any ideas, thoughts, or advice would be greatly appreciated. PS. My husband make about $75,000 a year right now.
Which is better Honolulu or Maui?
My 14yr old son is being granted a wish by the Make a Wish foundation. He wants to go to Hawaii. We have never been there before and we can choose where to go. Either Honolulu or Maui. If you have been there before which would you choose and why? Pls keep in mind the ages of my children when choosing Boy 14 and Girl 12. Thank you
Hi im looking for chow chow puppy for sale in Hawaii?
I looked up local breeders on the national chow chow club site and they didn't list any for Hawaii. So it looks like you'll have to find a mainland breeder, hope one turns up in a shelter or find another breed. Here's the kennel club site: http://chowclub.org As a side note, chows are fairly sensitive to heat problems; they're Arctic and cold-weather dogs. So I'm not really sure how well you'd do with one in Hawaii anyway.
Between Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island... whats best for a couple?
My husband and I would like to take a trip (about 5-6 days) to hawaii, and I noticed there is a price difference between each island. Does anyone have any good advice on which would be best for us? We just want to go and spend some much needed time together, nothing fancy required... just want to be by a pool, beach and have fun.
