There are lots of anime that make me cry... haha...Grave of the fireflies= sadness... -Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien -Jin Roh -Battle Angel -Kite -Video Girl Ai -Figure 17 -Gunbuster -Hitsuji no Uta (don't know if this series is finished yet) -Narutaru (be careful about this one, it's very graphic and violent-- but very VERY sad) - Chinese Ghost Story -Millennium Actress -Ayashi no Ceres -Full Moon wo Sagashite -Gungrave -Shingetsutan Tsukihime -Chrono Crusade Anyways, have you some good crying time with these. I am 35 and like to play with action figures, is it wrong?
I am 32 years old. If you could take a peak in my mind, you would have found the thoughts of a more wise 14-year-old me. I love the same things I used to love. I play video games, read science fiction, watch Super Sentai and anime. I talk about world domination with my friends, shred my guitar like a maniac, and roll my 20-sided dice in hopes that my high-level rogue can achieve something of importance in his fictional life. I wear pop culture-themed T-shirts instead of suits. I have a showcase with action figures. Is it wrong I enjoy things most people consider childish? Should I be ashamed of myself for not conforming to mainstream standards? Should we geeks find a remote island and seclude ourselves? (that’s not actually such a bad idea.)Well, no. It’s not wrong.It will never be wrong. People might consider it wrong, but in the end it’s their hobbies against yours. Peoples’ disapproval usually comes from their envy and discontent. People long for that carefree attitude they think us geeks possess (more stereotypical than true) and will do anything to see that attitude crumple under their “mature” point of view.As long as you enjoy yourself, there is no need to answer to anyone. There is nothing wrong with action figures. Action figures are awesome. You are awesome.
Good, clean anime to watch?
I am tired of starting an anime and finding that it has things that I don't want to see or watch. Usually it is fan-service or worse, but I don't care for a lot of gore either (that does not mean that I do like the action). I also don't care for the animes that just go on and on and on (Naruto, Bleach, etc.). I like the serious animes, but a few comedies are great too. Here are a few of the anime that I have seen and liked( I have watch many more that these, but I hope it give you some ideas): *Fullmetal Alchemist (and FMA Brotherhood) *Fruitsbasket *Seirei no Moribito Chrono crusade *Ghost Hunt Ouran Highschool Host Club D.N.Angel Last Exile Special A *Lovely Complex Tsubasa Chronicles *Kadocha no omocha *These are the ones that I liked best I do NOT like Death Note, or anything like it.
