I Want A Very Slight Brow Lift I Think Help

How can I make my eyebrows straight if they are naturally arched?

Our eyebrows are naturally arched for a reason. Eyebrows protect our eyes from residue that may run from our scalp and forehead.During different fashion trends, people have shaved their brows off or pencil thin shapes were done. They regret it afterward. As we age collagen and elastin decreases in the skin. This also slows down new growth for your brows. So, consider all options before you do anything to your brows.A straight eyebrow is not the most flattering look to your eyes. They are to gently frame your eyes adding to the shape. Shaping your brow to arch over the outer corner of the eye is the best look because it's natural.Once you begin to change the shape of the brow, you may affect the growth further on in life. For hair shaping, there are several options for hair removal. Waxing is most efficient and fast way to change the shape of eyebrow. Threading and plucking, helps keep the shape. You can see what I am talking about in this picture. Look at the shape of eyes when you have an arch compared to no arch. The eye's pop with the correct brow shape.Whatever you choose to do, think about it first. You can always add to the thickness and slightly change the shape of brows without removing any hair. An eyebrow pencil works the best. There are pigmentation pomade products that are made for the brows too. This gives a heavier look than a pencil.

LOW EYEBROWS! I am wanting to get a face lift when im a bit older, Tell me what you think, PICTURE!?

Dont mind the no makeup and hair up.
But i hate my low eyebrows, which im constantly having to raise them, making wrinkles in my forehead, and when i dont i look mad and ugly i think.
On the left is me raising them, which i want to be able to look like after a face lift, and the right is not raised, just regular. you can see a HUGE difference.
What i was thinking is a facelift to just pull my forhead up, is this possible?
any information? costs?
Please dont tell me that im fine, there is a legit difference, and it makes me feel bad about myself.
NOTE: I edited out the wrinkles on the left pictures to give a better effect.

Can Botox Injections Tighten and Lift?

Can botox injections help to tighten and lift your face a little? I know not everyone agrees with plastic surgery, but I would like some real information please. I'm young so I don't have wrinkles or frown lines but I am interested in having my eyebrows lifted slightly and since I am getting older my face is starting to loosen up. Just curious if botox could help to tighten and lift without having to have a face lift or something. I don''t want to do any surgery on my face. I would just like more information on what non-surgical procedure would be best for the results that I want. Most info gets best answer!

How can I angle my eyebrows to look slightly lifted?

I think using a light concealer underneath the eyebrow then building the eyebrow at an arch appropriate for your face shape or your choosing will work.  Use a soft and sharp pencil so you can draw individual hairs and build form.  I use a Laura Mercier Brow Pencil now which is a much better alternative than what I used to use: Eyeliner Pencils and concealer which looked really sparse and shoddy.  You need a thick waxy consistency to work with that counteracts oils and perspiration.  Start with the upper half of the brow and fill to the middle in an upward curve then add the base second near the nose, and don't make the base too low or the brow will look large and sunken.  As you're building the base shape, glace at the other eyebrow to make sure your brow looks balanced with your 3D face forms. Blend a concealer slightly lighter than your skin tone right below the eyebrow upward into the base of the brow to blend it naturally. Lastly, add a tail, go over the overall shape lightly again and don't make the tail go outward too much or it will look like it's floating on your face and not a part of the whole. It will probably be good to practice this one.  It will get easier over time.

Why do I always find myself having my eyebrows raised?

It's almost like a reflex, when I'm talking to somebody, watching tele, on the laptop whatever I do my eyebrows are raised (both of them). And then when i realise I relax them as I start to get a headache. But they don't stay in their normal place for long, I end up raising them up again. It gives me headaches, does this ever happen to you??? Why does it happen?

What does it mean when women raise one of their eyebrows at you while smiling (Women only)?

I don't know, maybe I'm just trying to read too much into it.

At work about a year ago, there was this one girl who would single me out from the other guys and would be really friendly. She would also do things like raise an eyebrow at me (just one of them) while smiling at me while walking across the room. Then one time at work she was sitting next to me and she asked, "So do you have a girlfriend?" A girl sitting one more chair down from us said, "Are you hitting on him?" The girl then said, with an annoyed voice, to this girl, "No! I have a boyfriend!!!" Now a year later, I found this girl on Facebook and since she seemed really friendly towards me and must have thought of me as a friend (she would have conversations with me like every day when we worked at the same place, she even gave me a ride a few times when my car wasn't working), I decided to add her as a friend. Apparently it looks like she hit the ignore friend request option because it no longer says that I'm awaiting a friend request from her and she hasn't been added as a friend either, so obviously she hit "ignore" for me.

I was just wondering about all of this, because it seems like a lot of men say that they won't raise an eyebrow at a woman unless they're trying to be real flirty. So, I was wondering why women will raise one eyebrow, and what it means?

Thanks

Why does my vocal teacher tell me to raise my eyebrows while singing?

Have you ever heard of creative visualization? It is a “trick” like that. You are probably losing support, going flat, lowering your soft palate or something like that which your teacher is trying to correct without telling you exactly what it is. It could be your vowel, breath, dynamic, where the note is coming from, where it is going, etcetera. I have heard teachers tell their students or choirs to stand on their toes or lift a hand, hold the stomach or hit the note from above.Tricks work if you are not getting what is going on technically but it is better to have a reason to sing. Mean what you sing. Sing for and to your target audience. If you sing from the heart, you’ll never need tricks to hit your notes. Free your caged bird by discovering the poor, the sick, the dying, the lonely, the hopeless, the lost, the forsaken . . .As I said, a singer needs something to sing about, not just tricks and technical workarounds. Some people figure it out when they turn like - seventy. Most don’t. There comes a time when singers need to let go of their training and just become communicators. That is when one evolves from a mere professional to artist. Lucky is the person who discovers this in their twenties.

Frowing/raising eyebrows while singing?

Is it considered straining when you do that?
We had a guest vocal coach in my choir class yesterday, and he told us that if we do that, we're straining. So I wanna know what you guys think...

I also wanted to ask him something, but we ran out of time, so hopefully you guys can help me.

I'm a little confused with my breathing when I attempt to hit high notes. Am I supposed to "push" from my diaphragm? I'm tempted to do so when I attempt a high note.

Please help me. Thanks =)

What could this be? When I move my eyebrows I get a headache.?

Your problems are actually caused by tight neck muscles. The muscles go to the top of your head where they connect to muscles going around your head. When the neck muscles get tight they pull the head muscles into pain and that's your headache. The nerves for your eyes go to the back of your head passing next to the neck muscles. When the neck muscles are tight they can press onto the nerves going to your eyes to cause pains to be felt on the backs of your eyes where the nerve is attached. The neck muscles also pass just inside your ears where they can press onto the nerves going to your ears to cause pains and/or hearing loss. When you lift your eye brow you are tensing up your neck muscles to add to the pain. When your neck muscles are tight they restrict the blood leaving the head to restrict the fresh blood entering the brain which results in a lowered oxygen level in the brain. There are three stages of lowered oxygen levels in the brain and they are; feeling very tired; feeling dizzy or light headed; and passing out. To get rid of these problems you have to free up your neck muscles and here's how to free them up:
Neck Release:
Place your hands behind your head touching your fingers. Press into the back of your neck with them and hold the pressure on them. After 45 seconds slowly lower your head until your neck is fully extended. Release the pressure but hold your head there for another 30 seconds.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.
