I want to change my username on Instagram, but I want to save my previous username too so that anybody else can't use it. How do I do this?
It's very easy and I've followed the same for good number of username. First, you need an email which is not associated with an Instagram account. You can use temp email as well (you can Google it).Now, first change your Instagram username. Once you change it, your previous username will be available publicly. Now, logout of your Instagram account. Once you logout, it'll ask you for login or sign up. Sign up with new email address and claim your username which is now available publicly. You're done!Note: make sure you do this process in one go and don't tell anyone about it, else someone else might claim your username before you can.
Instagram won't let me change my profile picture?
Okay so today I went to change my instagram profile photo and when I selected the new one, instead of showing up it just made my profile picture blank. I can't even get my old one back now. I have tried multiple pictures, restarted the app, restarted my phone, even tried it on another account and it doesn't work there either. I tried logging in on my sister's phone and trying there but it still didn't work. And the connection is working fine too and it works to post regular pictures too, just not to change my profile picture. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening or what I can do to fix it? Is it happening to anyone else?

i have about 830 followers. i've tried a tumblr account but i never had ideas of what to post about. i've tried making it like a personal account for example: pictures of my friends, selfies, everyday stuff, but i found that those pictures didnt really get that many likes and my account looked kind of boring. i dont want to do a fanpage because im not part of a specific fandom and crap like that. i ran out of ideas. i could really use your help, thanks
