I Want To Buy A Gaming Pc But Which Gpu Ishould For New Games

Should i buy a gaming pc?

I'm considering getting a gaming pc because i wanna give pc gaming a try. My current laptop is a horrid piece of [insert vulgar word here] because it's not great for gaming. But the problem is that i'm not sure if i'll stick to gaming. What if i buy gaming pc and not like gaming? Would it have been a waste? Will my gaming pc still be good for other non-gaming things?Like surfing the internet, entertainment etc? The last part's important. I mostly use my pc for entertainment (youtube, movies, netflix). Will a gaming pc be good for that since it has a better graphics quality?

Do you really need a gaming computer to play PC games?

“Gaming computers” are defined more by what you do with them than by their specs. If you really had to narrow it down to a single component, though, the video card - or rather, its’ GPU - would be the best candidate. While modern CPUs often feature integrated video processors, those are fairly low-end an not really capable of rendering the visuals of graphically advanced games at anything approaching acceptable performance. Since there is a HUGE range of available video cards (and their GPUs), a good rule of thumb is that the GPU should be capable of delivering at least a minimum acceptable level of performance in technologically modern games.RAM is not as much of a factor as you think - 8 GB is a standard amount these days, and many games don’t fully utilize even that much . With 16 GB, you’d be set for years to come. The CPU is a factor, though not equally with all games. These days, it’s reasonable to have a CPU that’s at least hyper-threaded dual core - ideally true quad core - but performance of individual cores also plays a role (reasons should be obvious). Something that performs at or above the level of a 4th generation Core i3 will be adequate for an entry level gaming system.

Should I get a good GPU or CPU for my gaming pc?

As only one person who seems to be in the know.If you’re talking 1920x1080 at 60hz I’d recommend the i5–7500 and a GTX 1060 or RX580/480/570heck even going up to the 144/165 hz range you couldn’t need more than a GTX 1070.As another answered The GTX 1070 is great for the 2k aka 2560x1440 if you get a high end screen then you may need a GTX 1080 for 144–165(OC) G-Sync screen at 2k.For 4K you need a minimum of a GTX 1080, recommended a GTX 1080 TI that’s at 60 hz aka 60 Frames Per Second. The i5 is good enough for most things. and i7 is if you want to do something more than game, Video editing, 3D rendering, etc.The question assumes the wrong ideas! You need a Good CPU and and Good GPU for high/ultra gaming.for just a good gaming experience you can go with an old HP elitedesk 8300 and a GTX 1050 Ti and play many games around 60 FPS on med to high/ultra (Older games).Just showing a newer game and the FPS they were getting with a few settings…as to what the Elitedesk 8300 with 8 GB of ram and a 500 GB HDD typically goes for around 160–200, the GTX 1050Ti is around $100–150 so for at most $450 you can play battle field 1 at Medium with ultra texture settings, above 60 FPS.Hope that helps.

Which is better to buy, a gaming PC or an Xbox 360?

If you are buying a pc, first you need see whats your budget. If you want to do a casual gaming 35000 to 40000rs is enough to spend on it. But for hardcore gaming upto 55k would be required for it.Pc costs you more but you can almost all titles on it. You can play all old pc game titles to the newest one. But during your pc build you need to do a lot of research. As there are some chances that you have bought every good parts for your rig. But you forgot to check about graphics card which is the most important as well as most expensive part in your pc for gaming. this same thing happen to me i bought almost all the good parts for my gaming pc but i don t know much about anything. So i bought a less powerful gpu which can t handle latest titles. So before buying a pc you need to care for a lot of things but after building a powerful rig you feel that your pc is better than a console. I am not saying that consoles are bad, they are actually also very good since they come in budget but for buying games for console you need to make your pocket a little loose as the console games are not cheap as compared to digital purchses of games in pc on sites like steam. So, finally i want say that both are good at their place but if you want a budget gaming for short term go for console or if u want to spend some only for first time go for pc( but build it with research). By the way if you want to buy a console don t buy xbox 360. It s now very outdated and you will not get any latest games on it. Go for ps4, ps4pro or xbox 1.

So I've seen people saying that the only thing that makes a "gaming" PC a "gaming" PC is the GPU. So, if I buy a decent, non-gaming PC, but buy a good GPU for it, will I be able to play high-end, new games with it?

Maybe. It depends what you consider ”decent”.If on a budget, I usually have some specific suggestions.Like if you were to buy a machine that's business class, they usually are light on graphics but heavy on numerical processing power. Most of the machines in my office are Intel i5 or i7 processors with like 8gb of RAM. They are usually on the cheaper side too. Throw a discrete GPU in one of those and it'll play some flagship games without any trouble. This isn't a blanket assessment though. Not all business machines are this powerful. Make sure you get something like this (see below), and buying certified refurbished can save you some cash. This plus $150 on a GPU will keep you in the $500 range total and get you gaming at medium to high settings on a budget. Also, below the business machine link is a video of a guy who put together a gaming PC for under $200. If you get creative, you can do a lot with little money.Dell Optiplex 790 MiniTower High Performance Desktop Computer PC (Intel Quad-Core i7-2600 up to 3.8GHz, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD, DVDRW, Windows 7 Professional) (Certified Refurbished) Amazon.com: Dell Optiplex 790 MiniTower High Performance Desktop Computer PC (Intel Quad-Core i7-2600 up to 3.8GHz, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD, DVDRW, Windows 7 Professional) (Certified Refurbished): Computers & Accessories
