How to introduce yourself during Pageant?
Hello everyone! Can somebody give me an idea how to introduce myself during the pageant? For example, "Good evening everyone! I'm Patricia blah blah from 9th grade blah blah. . I do believe in the saying blah blah blah. ." The problem is, I always hear that "I do believe in the saying" part of introduction and I want to change it. Any idea? ^_^
Is this prom dress too long?
Yes, unfortunately they do not include the length of the dress in the size chart. I'm 5'2" and would stay far away from that dress. Although the size chart does provide information of other measurements. If your body size is equal to one of the dress sizes as per the measurements I would get it if you LOVE it and have someone hem it up for you. The dress seems to have a lot of detail so a not so permanent job (or "bad" job if you can't afford a pro) probably wouldn't be noticeable and would be easy to take out. Also the lighting will be dim. Only if you love it... Otherwise I'd keep shopping. :) You don't want to be forced to wear shoes that are too tall and end up having achy feet during your prom! Freshman Year: How to make a good impression on the first day?
Honestly the biggest thing I regret is not being very outgoing on the first day.. I was soooo nervous and didn't really get to know anyone till the second day. But everyone is nervous the first day and just wants to make friends so the first day is your best shot:) just whoever sits by you on your classes.. Just make casual convo. Ask them things like oh how's your first day going so far? What classes you taking? Stuff like that. Then hopefully youll get to know them and their friends.. Also just be nice to EVERYONE. even the nerds or emp kids... Nobody likes the first impression of a b*tch and then in the future you'll get more votes for prom queen or stu co president! Ya never know. And join a lot of sports and clubs. That's how you meet people and a lot of the sporty girls at my school are popular. Also- even if some kids you meet seem kinda sketchy or 'bad'... They are the kids that have the good parties so attend those for surreeeeee:) well have fun and enjoy freshman year- it's the best:)
