I Want To Go On An Adventure How

I want to go on an adventure?

I have known that something was missing from my life, and i just realized what it is. I do not want to live the average life, where you go to school, go to college, get a job, then die. That is not the life for me. Honestly, if i have to live that life id rather die. I want to live a life like lord of the rings, you know? İ want to go on adventures and do something. I mean, really meaningful adventures, like in lotr. Anyone want to join me on an adventure?

I want to go on an adventure?

I am exactly the same, I feel so bored of life. Some people are happy following the system but I can't stand it. Every day is so boring, everything's always the same, feel like I'm wasting my life. Wish someone could come up with an answer for me too

I WANT TO GO ON AN ADVENTURE!?

Wow... that sounds like a dangerous adventure. You probably finished watching a movie where the hero/heroine has some sort of adventure that you are describing. (It must be Lord of the Rings) But realistically... those kind of things are very dangerous. There are a lot of sick people lately.. so if you're thinking of going to do that type of adventure.. think twice. You should get more people involved. Get your friends to go on an adventure with you. It would be less risky and more fun.

Oh and you should look into horseback riding, skiing/snowboarding, camping at a proper campsite, and other things. I'm also 18 and I also wanna go on an adventure. But not like what you're describing.

What adventures do you want to go on?

Life itself is the greatest “adventure” (and for all of my whining about the aches- and-pains of old age, I still want life to go on). As for dynamic fun, I’d definitely recommend skiing, SCUBA, surfing, motorcycles, motor sport and drag racing, flying, rafting, backpacking, rock/mountain climbing, team sports, hunting/fishing, and skydiving. Having said that, I have to honestly admit that I value my (relatively) few relationships more than most of the above experiences (although doing “most of the above” with my kids takes things to a whole new level of enjoyment). As for travel and sightseeing, I’ve been to many parts of the world and my general observation is that the wonders of nature almost always dwarf the best that man has accomplished/produced (at least to me). Then again, it’s generally easier to get a decent meal in Paris than in the Alaskan outback.I guess that the point that I’m trying to make here is that “the future” is really life’s greatest adventure. Whether it be meeting the love of your life (don’t let go), making new medical/technical discoveries, or discovering where/how your particular “gifts” best benefit your career and society at large, it’s almost always interesting to discover what the future holds in store. What will be this generation’s version of “electricity”? In retrospect, I’d seriously consider repeatedly going into stasis (if it were possible) just to see what the future holds in store for the world over the next several centuries (bearing in mind my earlier claim about how much I value my relationships).

What should I do if I want to go on an adventure by myself in the US?

Get a job at a multinational company that has offices in your country and the US.  An intercompany transfer will make it easier for you. You'll be arriving into the US with a job and a visa vs being a foreigner with no American job experience trying to find work and finding an employer that is willing to sponsor your work visa.

I want to go on an adventure and feel alive?

Because honestly everything in my life bores me to the point where I hate it. I want to go have an amazing adventure, like you see in the movies. But what can I do? I'm incredibly sick of always doing the same things with the same people, and even when I try doing different things with my friends or hanging out with other people, it still isn't the same. I want to have fun and I want to actually feel like I'm alive. I'm willing to do anything because no matter what I do it's not enough to excite me and make me feel like I'm living on the edge. And no I don't want something like skydiving or an "adventure" like that that only lasts a day. I want something that will last at least a week.

I want to go on a real adventure?

Just... go.

You know, the greatest story ever told is written in the Bible. If you observed how people lived by faith back then, the craziest, most unbelievable situations happened in their lives. The problem nowadays is that believing in something demands a huge leap of faith that most people are uncomfortable with.

You have a home. You've got people that love and care about you. There's stability in your life at the moment. You might be bored of it all, the mundane routines... but think about it. If you packed a bag right now and just stepped outside with the intent of never returning... It takes a lot of courage. You'd have a billion things running through your mind, people you'd want to say goodbye to. When you take time to analyze the details, you'd realize there's so much you need to do before you depart seemingly forever.

In any case, you'd also have to consider the modern day threats and dangers posed by the world nowadays. Especially to girls. Human trafficking, rape, murder... etc, etc.

It's risky you know..maybe a very small percentage might find some sort of satisfaction within the boundaries of an "adventure" if they were brave enough to venture out.

That's not to say it isn't possible though. Because anything is possible. Which brings me back to my biblical reference. I don't know what religion you are or even if you believe that there is a God. But you know.. if you really did give up everything you held dear and tried to find God... he'd take care of you. Evil, danger, harm.. wouldn't be able to touch you, if you trusted him.

And you know what? He'd make your life worth living. In ways no one would dream possible. If you had faith and started listening to him, he might give you some impossible commands, like going to a certain place on the other side of the world, for example. But you know what.. if you do what he says and start living your life by his word.. a little faith can go a long way. The parting of the red sea... imagine an entire ocean opening up just because you believed in him and he wanted to clear a path for you. These occurances weren't myth! Life is a test, a trust and a temporary assignment.

What does it mean to go on an adventure?

An adventure is what you make it. It can be a walk around the block or neighborhood, or across a continent. To me it is what you put into it.I could take you on an adventure through a story. It is really about the journey not just the destination. There are so many interesting things to see and do. It is up to you to look for them.I went on an overnight train ride with a friend. They had such a good time they wanted to share the 'adventure ' with a friend of theirs. When they got back, i asked how their train trip was... they said it pretty much sucked. They didn't take advantage of all the activities on the train, like cocktail hour, movie, the lounge car to meeting interesting people. They sat in their bunk the entire time.No wonder they had a terrible time.
