I Want To Go To College But I Have No One To Co-sign For Me On A Loan

How can I get a student loan without a cosigner?

You can choose to take an education loan from a NBFC, just like I had taken one.One of the financiers that provides edu loan without a co-signer is Prodigy Finance.Apply for study abroad education loan to Prodigy FinancePersonally, I had taken a loan from a NBFC via WeMakeScholars. I had approached WMS based on my cousin’s and an acquaintance’s recommendation. They helped me apply to the concerned NBFC and keep me informed about the entire process. It is a credible and transparent source, talking from my experience. The best part, they did not charge a penny from me for their services. You can even have a look at their blog which have useful and information regarding education loans. You can check the blog here

Need student loan. No cosigner. Bad credit.?

Basically my mom left me on my own when I was 18. She followed her addiction to New Mexico and left me here in NJ. I m 23 and I m picking up the pieces. I need 45k to go to school. I have a 625 credit score. I work full time as a bartender and part time in real estate. And I have no cosigner. Point me where to go to get this loan.

I'm slightly confused about this college thing..?

If you are a US citizen, you probably qualify for Federal Loans. Your college's student loan office can give you more information about that if you just shoot them an email and ask. The Federal loan program for undergraduate students is staggered so that the amount you are able to take out increases as you move closer to graduation (Freshmen take out around $2500, Sophomores take out around $3500, and so on). The interest rates on federal loans are quite good. Just view it as an investment that gets a good return...in other words, if you take out loans make sure they are for a degree that pays.

Co-signers only come into play on private student loans. You may need a co-signer if you have no credit or poor credit. I wouldn't recommend taking out private loans unless you are either getting a 4 year degree in a field that pays very well (engineering, for example) or plan on attending graduate/professional school later on.

If you are coming up short for the cash to go to school, you can always work part time and attend class full time, or switch it up and work full time while getting your degree part time.

On-campus vs. off-campus is a personal question that turns on your personality and need for privacy.

If you attend the right school and live on campus or close to campus, you can survive without a car and save a lot of money. I went 3 years without a car and just walked everywhere. Get a bike if you need to.

There is nothing wrong with taking a year off and working full time to get yourself established. Don't listen to anyone telling you that if you take a year off you'll never go back. If you want it bad enough, you'll find a way.

Good luck!

Should I co-sign on a car loan for my adult child?

My daughter is 20 and has been working as a dietary aid in the hospital cafeteria for two years, part time! We have begged her to get into college, so that she could one day SUPPORT herself. But, she refuses because she doesn't know what INTERESTS her yet! Now she wants me to co-sign on a 5,900 car...I talked them down to 4,750..but, the payments are 162 a month and the car has NO warranty. I want to buy a house but this probably won't help any since I will have this loan out for 3 years with her. What would you guys do?? Her old car just needs the power steering fixed but she is sick of fixing pieces and parts on her car constantly. If she gets this car she will probably work full time and she will NEVER get into school.....hmmmmm

Student Loans, Bad credit, No cosigner. What do I do?

Everytime I apply for a student loan I get denied. I don't have good credit and everyone else in my family has horrible credit, therefore a co-signer is out of the question. I have to work 3 jobs to pay for school which leaves me not much time to study and tired througout my classes, therefore resulting in 2.0-2.3 gpa every semester which means scholarships are out of the question too. On top of all that I have to pay out of state tuition. There is not a single college in my state that offers my major, Hospitality and Entertainment Management. Plus I hate living here and don't care for this state at all. I love my out of state school and the state its in. I thought about becoming a resident of the state to get in-state tuition but i would have to quit school for a year and work a full time job. I refuse to be in school for 6 or 7 years and I'm already a year behind and I started in 2004 and is still considered a Junior, so I won't do that. So r there any loans out there for 1 like me?

If I want my brother to co-sign a car for me and I want him out of the co-sign in 2 months, can I do that by putting down a downpayment of five thousand dollars?

Co-Signer means Co-Owner. The lender feels you are NOT credit worthy AND your contract partner is a good credit risk. You MAY not even need a co-borrower. If you have NO credit and your downpayment is 50% of the contract - you might have a shot. The variables would be assuming you have a job and don't live in a park for instance. What will happen is that the loan interest rate will reflect your being a credit risk.Meaning your rate could be as high as 18% for example where excellent credit risks on the same loan might be 3%.

Just turned 18, no credit, no cosigner, need to get an auto loan, please help?
