Do you pay to get into dave and busters?

No, you do not have to pay to enter.
You pay for dining as normal and you pre-pay for cards to use with the games.

Do you have to be 21 and over to go to Dave and Buster's?

no, but after a certain time they kick people out that aren't of age, well that is what they did in san diego a few years back, i don't know for sure now.

Why did Dave Grohl go from playing drums (Nirvana) to playing guitar (Foo Fighters) when he is rated to be among the greatest drummers of all time?

Dave Grohl was , and is, one of the most intelligent and sensitive writers in modern rock. He obviously had an emotionally harrowing personal and professional journey to share with us all (any who listens). The way in which the Foo Fighters absolutely and almost literally exploded onto the rock scene in 1997 with THE COLOUR AND THE SHAPE, is all the justification that ever needs be uttered in defense of Grohl. He had something important to say, and the guitar and voice was his most effective path. Listen closely to the lyrics to try and guess what struggles he went through. Imagine losing Cobain, your identity of sorts. Hes a hero. In reality. And I mean Grohl…he chose to pick himself up and keep going. Hes only gotten better. And he still knows the drums.

Dave and Busters question?

Dave and Busters is a combination of resturant/bar and game center. They do have an age requirement. If you are under 18 you must be with a person who is 25 or older to enter. They DO check ID at the door.

Once inside you can go to the bar(if of legal age) or resturant. The food is a bit better than your basic casual resturant. They also have Billards and Shuffleboard where you get charged by the hour. Depending on the time of day you go this is around $7-$12 an hour, I haven't done this in a while but that is the prices I seem to remember.

Then there is the Midway. Here they have some regular arcade games, but the biggest is the Ticket Redemption games. This is where you can earn tickets towards prizes. You purchase a "PowerCard" and instead of tokens or cash you get points to put on the card. Each game you play takes a set amount of points. A new card is 2$ one time, but as long as you have the card you can continue to reload it. You then can put as many points on it based on the amount you want to pay. The prices start at about 3$ but go up to 25$. When you are done you take any tickets you have won and have them counted. They then put the number of tickets on the card. So you can use them at that time or save them.

IMO the games are much better maintained and the atmosphere is better than your another type of place such as minature golf places. But the midway can get quite noisy at times. At least that is how it is for the ones around here.

What is the startup cost for a Dave and Buster’s?

Why do people like Dave Matthews Band?

I can add a few more points. As people have pointed out, DMB  is unique in a number of ways:- the Band history, origins and diversity- the complexity of their music- the fact that they play a different set every night - the energy positivity and messaging around them But for me, it's a few things more.First. The lyrics Dave writes are about important life themes: love, struggle, life/death.   Many many fans have songs that they identify with specific points in their lives and you'll hear stories of playing a song on repeat for days/weeks/months to get through a life event (e.g. Crash - first or intense love, Grey street - divorce or abuse, Rhyme and reason - drug abuse/recovery, etc).  These things matter to people.  Next - the human connection at the live shows.   I think people need connection points with other humans.  We lack this in a major way in life today.  Too much technology, not enough human interaction.  DMB shows change this.  They are all about the weekend party, getting to the venue early to meet your old and new friends, hanging out for hours at a time doing whatever, enjoying the shows, post party, sleep it off and do it al again tomorrow.   I am still tight friends with people I met 10+ years ago at a venue across the country.  We still meet up for a show or two every year. The music - love it or hate it, it would be very difficult to say that you don't respect the guys as musicians.  They are a talented  lot and not many other bands could keep up the pace they've been on for the past 25 years.  I've been to 100+ shows and their music blows me away every time.  There are shows I like more than others mainly due to set list preferences, but never ever have I thought they didn't give 100% effort and play some amazing music. I've introduced so many people to DMB over the years.  Best thing to do is to go see them live at a premier venue like SPAC, Alpine Valley or the Gorge.  Life changing.

How do I check my Dave and Busters power card balance?

3 ways: 1. You can download the Dave and Buster’s powerstation app and put your card number in there to keep up with your balance and also if you lose your card that number is right there. 2. Take it up to the front desk and ask them to check for you. They’ll tell what you have and can even write the balance down if you ask them. 3. The kiosks near the game area are also a good way to check the balance. It will even tell you your swipe history and how much was taken from each game just in case you thought you had more points. That’s also where you can add more points too.
