My girlfriend hates my hobby?
she doesn't like that i play basketball alot, and never want to cuddle with her or anything. i DO spend time with her, but its always in public(movies,pool,park,mall, etc.), but it bothers her that whenever we have the time to be alone to cuddle or something, i always go outside and play basketball, and she ends up leaving, because she has to go. were both 16 and juniors , so we dont have our own place yet, so its like; whenever shes at my house, im always on the driveway with my friends(sometimes random people) playing a basketball game. ill admit i do play for a long time, i guess 3 hours max, and by that time she has to go home. what should i do? i stopped playing basketball for my school this year, for her(im planning on playing again senior year) , but shes still not happy. i think its boring cuddling and watching movies, sometimes its cool but not all the time, i prefer to spend my time while im at home just playing basketball, all i do at home anyway is play my playstation, basketball or sleep. help?shes not going to break up with me(i know she wouldnt) but is there any way i could get rid of the issue without changing anything?

Your explanations above, tell me a few things. So you feel social anxiety at parties, but not at an amusement park full of people. I dont think its social anxiety, as much as it is choice, and dislike. Its ok to dislike parties. If you dont like something then dont go. But if you were to ask anyone with true social anxiety disorders, they would tell you it's across the board; not selective places like you have mentioned. Second, its very telling that he said he feels "attached at the hip". That only means that he feels too needed by you. Being needed by you is good, but he feels some pressure to entertain you and your feelings when he says this. Plus I will be honest, he will have some fun with friends, the same way you & girlfriends have fun without the guys. (and if you don't do this, then you should start, because it keeps a relationship healthy. Most guys don't like it when a woman "needs" him that much. In fact, most guys find it a turn on, when a girl doesnt need them very much at all... it makes HIM work harder at keeping his girl... See how that works? Tell her the truth, I know corny. But she has to understand that you don't have money. Why do I get so jealous when my girlfriend hangs out with her friend?
Well first of all my girlfriends best friend is gay and she's a full out lesbian soooo nothing for me to worry about there but they've been hanging out a lot lately and I've been extremely jealous. I have a field trip to a water park coming up?
At the end of our school year, all the people in my grade get to go to Noah's Ark Water Park for the entire last day of school. But I think we only have a half day. I'm in 8th grade. I need help, because the only girl I hang out with isn't going to be there. Besides her, I only hang out with my guy friends, whom I'm close with. Here's the thing: I don't like water rides.
