I want to learn Urdu. Where do I start?
Good to know that you are wanting to learn Urdu, it's very easy to learn Urdu. If you belong to the Urdu speaking family, or someone who knows Urdu and is very close to you....in this case , only you would have to catch words .In daily life we speak almost 75 % Urdu words.....Please kindly it's request to you if you are really ready to learn . Then start with Urdu script, script is not hard.First , you have to buy any primary Urdu book ( Urdu Qayeda, or Urdu ki pahli kitaab etc). Someone who knows , please go and learn alphabets and initial sentences.... I can say that if you will keep regularly your lesson only 15to 20 days . You would be able after to read , and then it will depend on your practice..... Sometime if feel bored then recite Urdu poetry it will give you energy....Here, below I am putting alphabets and making sentences... If you will read would be fruitful.....1.Alif.
