I Want To Open A Coffee Shop In The Future

I want to open a coffee shop where people can go with their computers and get technical support. Is this a good idea? Which city would be the best place for the idea?

Use cases which may probably fail? :a)Can a tech problem be solved in a coffee time units?                  Suppose a customer is  interacting with a technician, can he/she can have a coffee while the technician solves the problems? How does the individual frames of power/view look?                Turning the tables kinda like customer ordering the technician/tech. consultant to solve the problem while having a cuppa coffee?b)What about customers who want to just have coffee? Can they come to shop to see new trends in tech while having a coffee? Can you make the strangers interact with each other over a coffee?May be you have to make them talk with each other? Also does it change the general setting of a coffee shop? Tech support consulting? The coffee shop is the future of . . . well, everything

How can one open a coffee shop in Amsterdam?

i’ll just go ahead and assume you’re talking about the kind off coffee shop where they sell weed/pot.It’s not as straight forward as the majority of the world thinks actually.selling soft drugs like pot is not entirely legal in the Netherlands.the government has a what they call in dutch “gedoog beleid” which means they tolerate the use and trade in soft drugs. (kinda)i’ll try to elaborate… when you’re 18 years old you can go into a coffee shop and purchase up to 5 grams of weed. you won’t get into any type of trouble for it and even when the police find you have it on you you’re fine.the problem lays where the coffee shops get their product, because (ironically) the growing and buying of weed is in fact illegal.you see my problem? Now for your other questions:yes anyone can do it, if you have the right knowledge (and contacts)i wouldn’t have a clue about how much it would cost to set up a coffee shop from scratch. i suppose it would be like any other small retail shop.you can sell pretty much anything in a coffee shop, most common are things like smoking attributes (rolling papers, grinders, bongs, pipes etc) and most of them will also have a variety of drinks.Including: coffee :)Oh right, Don’t do drugs kids.

How much capital is needed to open up a coffee shop in India?

These is a bit confusion in your question. But I am answering it in a general way.You want to take franchise of any Brand like CCD, Barista, StarbucksIf this is your case then it will depend on you particular location and brand which you are choosing. Each brand has its own fees and regulations. As I am from NCR so total cost for starting a franchise in NCR vary from 50lakh to 1cr. depending upon brand and location and size.2. If you want to start your own chainIn this case 1st establish your 1st branch properly and that would cost you around 15–30lakhs approx(a lot factor play an important role in deciding the rates so cannot be specific). after establishing that u can expand it but giving franchise to other people or by opening self operated franchise.Hope that will helpEdit-1Q- But I would like to open a Starbucks in Calcutta Rajahart area need some helpA- Please visit local distributors. In NCR Yum Brands have maximum franchises; might be in Calcutta also they are dealing. Many big brands also come with the term that you need to take multiple franchise.

Is it legal for a coffee shop to charge for hot water if you use your own mug?

If you don't want to pay for hot water, then I imagine that nobody is forcing you to buy it.

I used to work in a college cafeteria, the one that the students had meal plans for. The cafeteria was part of the college, but it had its own budget, and if it suddenly started losing money, then questions would be asked. Coffee shops are usually independent contractors, and they PAY for the privilege of having a shop on campus.

Tell you what, how about you work for a few minutes for the coffee shop, for free, any time they ask you to. You're asking them to give you something for free, so you should be willing to give them something for free. That's fair, right?

Or you could just bring a thermos and be glad that you're allowed to eat and drink in the library. When I went to college, we weren't allowed to eat or drink anything, or even bring in food and drink. We had to traipse to the Student Union to get a snack or drink.

I dream of owning my own coffee shop. Should I study business management to open a coffee or is it not necessary?

You should definitely educate yourself on as many aspects related to business and owning a coffee shop as you can. But the question is “how” you should educate yourself. There is the traditional route of formal education where you will go into debt with student loans or you could take free online courses through sites like Udemy and find a job at a coffee job and learn all you can there. For a venture like owning a coffee shop a college education isn’t necessary but self-education is. Besides coffee shop specific knowledge more general subjects you should pursue are marketing (social media, digital, etc.), graphic design, accounting, and finance (not investment management but how to manage the money your business brings in to make the most out of each dollar).Hope this helps!
