I Want To Rent Disney Wilderness Lodge Villa For 1 Week

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge VS Disney's Wilderness Lodge?

I love the Wilderness lodge. It is easier to get around to and from your room. The pool is neat, it even has a water slide. There's also a less common "secret" pool if the main one is too crowded. There's also several hot tubs. In Disney, you do so much walking from place to place that you shouldn't need a gym :).

I would pick the Wilderness lodge because of the location. It has a dock where you can get a boat to several hotels, as well as the Magic Kingdom. If you take the boat to the Magic Kingdom, you can get on the monorail to Epcot, and then take a boat from Epcot to Hollywood studios, so you have access to 3 parks without even needing to take a car and having to worry about parking, gas money, ect. The only park you can't get to without a car is Animal Kingdom, and that isn't too far in a car or one of the Disney Buses. The Animal Kingdom lodge is pretty far from all of the parks except Animal Kingdom, and you can't take any boats or monorails. They do have buses, but it isn't as convenient as a quick boat ride.

Wilderness lodge is on a big lake, so they have nice beaches, bike rentals, and boat rentals. They also have a man made geyser that goes off every 15 minutes or so, and is really neat to see. There is a ton of ducks, humming birds, and rabbits that roam the property. If you can get it, a ground level room facing the pool is awesome, you have easy access to the pool and you can see all of the animals. Wilderness Lodge has a restaurant and food court. The food court is very handy if you are out late and are starving when you get back to the hotel. It's open all day, and they have quick breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. You can buy a refillable mug and get free drinks at the food court.

The Animal Kingdom lodge is very nice. The animals are neat, but get old after a while. It isn't close to many parks or other hotels. The scenery and decorations are neat. It doesn't have as much of a "disney feel" as the Wilderness lodge IMO. Either way, you won't be upset with your choice. Both hotels are excellent, and disney is great. Make sure to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours and the Fastpass system!

How much will this disney world vacation cost?

me and my bf want to go for 5 days in June we are from Boston and we want to fly there and go to all the parks with a park hopper and we are hoping for free dining... how much will the total be between tickets, mealplan (hopefully free), flight, and hotel??

Planning Disney World Florida Trip?

I am a disney expert!! Ok, flying or driving its all about personal preference! But, if you do decide to fly you dont even need to waste your time on a rental car if you stay at one of the hotels at Disney. They will come and pick you up, and it is a very enjoyable trip. I have done it myself and on the 45 minute trip from the orlando airport they fill you with knowledge of the DisneyWorld Resort and Park. And for the kids they usually have a new popular kids moving playing. If you would like to stay in a lower price range for hotels, I would reccomend: Disneys Pop Century Hotel, Disneys All-Star Movies Resort, or Disneys All-Star Sport. These hotels start from only $82 dollars a night. If you want to stay in the middle price range starting from $145 a night then I would stay at Disneys Carribean Beach Resort. If you want to go all out prices starting from $205 , I love the Animal Kingdom Resort! The rooms are really great because you can watch Safari animals all day long! If you want to spend a little more money I would go for the Contemporary Resort, Grand Floridian or Polynesian because they have monorail systems to most the parks and it is so easy! Must see is the fireworks show at Epcot and the countries at epcot! It is truly a worldly experience. Also at Magic Kingdon Cinderellas Castle. At MGM Studios The Big Mickey Hat. Some must do's are: The new ride at Epcot called Mission Space its truly a great experience, At magic kingdom I would reccomend Big Thunder Mountain. At animal Kingdom Expedition Everest is great I just went there!! I hope this helps!

What is the cheapest way to go to to disney world?

The best time to visit is after Thanksgiving until a week before Christmas, the second best between Labor Day and Thanksgiving, and the third best is between January 4 and the first week of February. In the spring, the week after Easter until early June is less crowded. I would drive to Orlando because it will be a lot cheaper. Then I would stay at a hotel down International Drive (hence the name) its a tourist area and the hotels are nicely priced. Thats where I stay when I'm staying in a hotel when I go there, but usually I stay with my dad. You could also stay down Orange blossom trail theres cheap hotels down there as well. Unless you work there or know someone who does the park tickets are going to be the most expensive thing. Also I would bring food in a cooler down with you or go to a grocery store when you get here. Depending on what type of hotel you stay in they'll have places where you can prepare food. Or I would buy stuff to make sandwiches or something cheap like that. avoid eating at the park its very very expensive.
