I Want To Start A New Mmorpg

I have never played an MMORPG, but I want to start now, which game should I start with?

Most of the mentioned games aren't actually MMORPGs. Before you get into it, I hope you understand that MMORPGs aren't for everyone and you know what you're getting yourself into. With that said, Guild Wars 2 has a big open world and features a laid back combat system. Tera and Blade and Soul are also good MMOs if you're looking for more action based combat. If you're willing to pay, Final Fantasy XIV a realm reborn is a very high quality mmorpg but expensive. World of warcraft is also an option.

What is the best MMORPG for creating a 'new identity' and living a thrilling second life?

Choice are many!As Gerco Wolfswinkel mentioned, Eve Online is a pretty good pick, especially as it is now free to play.In the kind of idea, if you like the space life, Elite:Dangerous is also a great sandbox space sim game that lets you do pretty much anything you want. From fighting for a main power to space trucking, from piracy to exploration, you can do it all. And, as opposed to Eve, it’s set up in the “real” Milky Way! So if you’re a space geek, there’s extra points there.Another option I can think of would be Black Desert Online. That is if you like fantasy-type of RPG. Gorgeous graphics, the most complete character creator I can think of (and gorgeous character possibilities). There are many activities for you do and the community has been (at least towards me) very helpful and friendly do far.

Is there any chance for a new MMORPG to become succesful?

There always is a chance, but unfortunately, most new MMORPGs end up falling short of expectations, or simply being too boring and generic in actual gameplay/story, that people end up only trying it for the graphics then get bored and play whatever's next. From a gamer perspective, it feels like f2p MMO developers are not really making games to make them a really fun or unique or innovative experience, and it feels as if they just want something generic and use a "safe" formula so they can sell cash-shop items.I noticed there are some other weirdly specific and annoying trends, for example:Action-combat MMOs, which in my opinion have the funnest combat systems, tend to unfortunately have pre-made and gender-locked characters. I also noticed they like to make the melee characters be limited to male, while the females are limited to ranged/magic...The only MMOs I have found this acceptable in, were the ones who gave these characters actual unique stories and fun varied personalities with voicing, and also made them diverse enough so as to make the game appeal to everyone, and so that there's good balance of male/female for magic/melee, like Grand Chase and Elsword for example.I particularly like MMORPGs which break the mold, and combine the best of many game ideas into one single game.Good examples are Phantasy Star Online 2, and Mabinogi(after a certain patch), among others. These do not have the generic "WOW Clone" feel to them, and both have unique combat systems that are actually engaging and require skill and thought, and not rely on "super upgraded items and stats". And lets you dodge/block attacks. The stories of both games feel genuinely interesting too, as opposed to most MMOs with the boring "two races/factions against each other" or "goddesses create you to fight against monsters" story that is so overdone and barely worth calling a story.So... Honestly I think that in order for a new MMORPG to be truly successful, and for the success to last, it'd have to be DIFFERENT, and push the boundaries that generic MMORPGs don't bother to. It has to be ambitious. It'd have to stand out as being "fun and revolutionary", and not just "meh, same same but with better graphics".I get annoyed seeing new MMORPGs calling themselves unique and awesome just because they have some crafting system that every other game already has, or flashy skills that every other game also has.

A good mmorpg to play?

i've been looking for a new game to play. mmorpg preferrably. but not necessarily. im open to anything basically.
i want a game that wont get boring quickly and i hope to play it for a long time.
i've played games like runescape and maplestory.
i was just trying to download gunbound as suggested by a friend, but when i tried to set up. it just said "checking setup files" or something. and it wouldn't work. reading about it, nobody has given a solution to this. so i dont think it works on my comp (vista)

anyway.
so if anybody knows a free game that is good. thats great
okay thanks

I need a New mmorpg to replace corum online?

It is really hard to recommend a specific MMO game, because everyone likes something different. A game I like you may hate. Check out http://mmohut.com for a gigantic list of these free mmorpg / mmo games. I use that site to find new games to play. Every few days I try a new game :) - It's a lot of fun because I try everything. They have like every single MMORPG categorized nicely with reviews, screenshots, videos and more. Heck they even list the game's system requirements!. Best part is all the games are free, which rocks.

http://mmohut.com/browser-games
They have a huge section for "no download" browser MMORPGs as well.

Let me know if this helped at all.

I Need a good Anime-Social MMORPG please?

Ok so i've played millions of MMORPGs and I need a new one...because I've gotten bored. I want a pretty realistic one were you can interact with other people. But not all about like fighting and stuff more of a girl kind. Quests and other things to do. Also one with good graphics >.>
Here's a list of ones i've already done/tired! DO NOT PUT SUGGEST THEM (or the ninjas will come and get you ^_^):
Dream of Mirrors
Runescape
Neopets (i don't think its one but people suggest it anyways)
Club Penguin
Last Chaos
Twelve Sky 2
Shaiya
Perfect World
Habbo Hotel
IMVU
Luminary
Second Life
Maple Story
Gaia Online

I would like a game similar to Dream of Mirrors/Runescape because those are the two I enjoyed most =) Thanks if you respond to this. Big Hugs whee
