I'm 14 and want to start making YouTube videos?
Hi, so I'm 14 years old, and I've always dreamed of making YouTube videos. I've been watching videos since I was 10 (I know, not old enough to have a YouTube, but whatever) and I used to make CPMV (Club Penguin Music Videos) when I was that age, and put them up. I know, it was stupid, but I enjoyed making the videos, and editing them, and I wanted to start making vlogs. I'm not really sure what to make them about though, because I'm very socially awkward and shy, and I usually only make fan videos, or lyric videos. What are some good video ideas, to start with? I want to start making youtube videos, but I have no idea where to start?
I don't know how to make my first video. That is one thing. I really just want to do something fun, but I have a few problems. I don't want to start making good videos and then have NO ideas all of a sudden. I also don't want to "steal" peoples ideas I also do not want to be busy and not be able to make a video, if that point ever came, which it probably won't but hey.. You never know. Have any ideas how to avoid that, and how to start? Thanks :) I am 13, btw. If that helps at all.
How to start making good youtube videos?
For one, you can't be a YouTube partner until you're 18. My camera is amazing, a Panasonic Lumix DMC-SZ7, $120. Professional lighting DOES cost quite a bit of money, but you could always just use a lamp or film outside! A tip for making videos is to just do whatever you want to do. Maybe write up some ideas for videos. Think of Jenna Marbles; she just talks about random things, but she's hilarious! If you want to do sketches like Smosh, I suggest getting some friends/family members to help you out. The reason people like Smosh and Jenna Marbles got so popular so quickly is because they came up with a viral video idea (Smosh, Pokemon Lip Synch, Jenna Marbles, How to trick people...) So what I'm getting at is to just make a video about what you would like to watch on YouTube. That's all. Good luck! P.S., post your channel, I'd love to see what you come up with!
Good age to start making YouTube videos?
Ok, so I'm 14 years old and I just got into YouTube about 3 or 4 months ago. I REALLY like KYR SP33DY and VanossGaming. I want to make a YouTube channel similar to theirs like making funtages and montages. My voice is pretty deep and I'm very mature so people probably aren't going to think I'm 14. I also know a lot about Photoshop and Video Editing and I already made a intro and outro for my channel so that isn't a problem. The only problem I would have with making a YouTube videos is that I play sports and have school. I play baseball and football so I would upload mostly during the Winter. I just don't know if I should get into this at this young age or wait, and I just want an opinion. Thanks!!! P.S. I have recording equipment such as a microphone and capture card that would make high quality videos so that's not a problem either. :)
