I Want To Watch Hunger Games Catchin Fire But Non Of The Adresses Work. I Want Something You Do Not

What happens to the winners of the Hunger Games?

In the true sense of the term, there really is no winning the Hunger Games. The books are written from Katniss’ perspective, and we only see the Capitol’s propaganda that accentuates the few “rewards” given to the victors, but mentions nothing of the many consequences that befall them. Victors are promised infinite wealth, but you better believe that it comes with more red tape and restrictions than a rental agreement. It emphasizes the Capitol’s gracious mercy in sparing the victor’s life, but doesn’t mention that the Capitol is the only reason their lives were ever at risk to begin with.In the case of Finnick O’Dair, the Capitol threatened the safety of someone he held dear to coerce him into doing what they demanded. Regardless of whether or not this was who he truly was, Finnick had no choice but to accept the new identity the Capitol created. The victors’ lives are spared, but they will never be allowed to return to the lives they were uprooted from and, in a sense, become slaves to the Capital. This is addressed in “Catching Fire”, when Katniss mentions that she will only carry on the charade until the end of the tour, to which Haymitch responds, “you don’t understand- it NEVER ends”.After winning, victors are physically removed from society to live in their own gated community. This is marketed as a reward, but actually serves to sever the ties between the victors and the rest of the District. It is unclear whether the victors are physically restrained from visiting the District, because the books are written from Katniss’s point of view, but we do see the effect it has on how the rest of District 12 views their only victor.Let’s look at the life of Haymitch as a victor. Yes, his life was spared, but every year, he is introduced to two wide-eyes innocent teenagers from his home district, many of which likely remind him of friends he used to know when he still lived in the Seam. They look up to him as their only hope for escaping what is likely certain death, and he knows there is little to nothing he can really do to prevent their death. He is with these kids for just long enough to get to know them on a personal level- he must get to know them to learn how best to “sell” them to sponsors- only to see them unceremoniously murdered a few days later. There is no escape from this fate, and no end to it in the foreseeable future. It’s no wonder he prefers to be drunk all the time.

What are some ideas for other Quarter Quells in The Hunger Games?

Here are some ideas:1. No random lottery drawing.  Instead, someone from each District must volunteer to be a tribute.  If no one from a District volunteers within a certain amount of time, the District gets punished.  The more time goes by without a volunteer, the worse the punishments get -- e.g. after an hour, a few people get beaten by the Peacekeepers; after two hours, someone is executed; after 6 hours or some other limit, the District gets firebombed.2. Each tribute gets randomly paired with a tribute from another District and they must work as a team.  If one dies, the other is automatically killed by the Gamekeepers.  The last two tributes face off against each other.3. The Hunger Games meets WWE Royal Rumble: Instead of everyone starting together, two random tributes start and another one enters the arena every 3 hours until they are all in.4. The Survivor Games: Instead of killing each other, the tributes compete in various challenges and hold "tribal councils" to vote on who gets killed off.4a. Hunger Idol: Same as #4, except the viewers in the Capitol do the voting.5. Add a secret exit from the arena, with clues to its location scattered throughout.  First tribute to find it automatically wins, the rest get blown to smithereens.

Do you find Game of Thrones boring? Why?

Yes, I found it boring too. Although it's totally personal choices, but I guess I can summerise and analyze why. (I only watched the first two seasons.)1. It appeared to be an action/fantasy show, which gave audience wrong expectations.2. Too many threads of the plot lines, made it hard to follow. Especially when you watch it weekly.3. The show develops slowly.4. The centers of the stories don't have obvious connections during the seasons. Things happening in the north and across the sea had nothing to do with each other or with the mainland for the whole two seasons.5. The development of characters and the type of their interactions were not the usual focus of this type of story(fantasy). You expect them from gossip girls, or Tudors, or maybe downton abbey, but not from lord of the rings or the hunger games. So basically I understand why the show attracts some audience, since it put the kind of drama onto a grand scale, bringing fantasy, historical, and maybe the feeling of swords and sandals into the drama of power struggles. The elements are exciting enough, the acting is good, and the production value is superb. The only question is if you buy it.In terms of tv shows, for me, I only watch comedies(the Big Bang theory), actions(24), thrillers(lost) or historical shows(Rome). When it comes to pure drama, I usually can't stand it(for example downton abbey). I guess it's because my attention span is limited for this type of entertainment. A movie is ok, longer than that, it needs some other elements to boost my interests: laughter, action, suspention, sci-fi, history, politics, ethics or other curiosities. Game of thrones stripes most of them off, only a skeleton of fantasy remains. So I guess that's the main reason it's not my cup of tea.

What are the best ways to improve acting skills?

1 Look at yourselfThis does not mean to just stand there and look in the mirror. Look at yourself and examine how you act normally, what do you do when you are tired. How do you walk around the house when you are upset, sad or frustrated? When you are excited, how do you answer the phone? How do you get ready for bed?For acting in front of the camera, everything you do is captured and magnified. So, it is the little things that you do on camera to express emotions, and feelings that demonstrate the best acting abilities. So by paying attention and understanding to how you normally do daily tasks you can improve your acting abilities#2 Practice Cold ReadingOften times, casting directors will have you cold read a scene in order to judge if you are to analyze a scene quickly as well as speak clearly. If you want to practice cold reading, you can take the advice of what Ronald Reagan did when he was an actor and read the newspaper out loud, cold. Or any book would work.By practicing cold reading, you will have one more ability that your competition will not have. Putting you at the top of the casting director’s list and mind.#3 Record YourselfTV News reporters spend hours if not days, in front of the mirror so they can better understand their facial muscles and expressions. If you are able to record yourself doing different facial expressions, talking, crying, or yelling you will be able to see what looks the best in front of camera. Think about it, even Jennifer Lawerence said that after watching herself in ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ that she had a really bad crying face. If you are able to see what you look like in different angles, and expressions you will be able to act even better in front of the camera.#4 Read! There are a ton of books for sale that will allow you to learn from the greats such as the Meisner Method and other acting techniques. Take up a book and learn unique ways to audition, to perform, and to get into character.OverallTo Practice Acting from Home, is not the garunteed way to success in Hollywood and landing an audition. But, it will allow you to use your free time efficiently. Talent is everywhere, it is the those that are willing to put in the hard work and time that are able to achieve success
