I Was Sick Twelve Hours Ago I Have Already Excreted Since. Is It Likely That I Will Be Sick Again

My Cat is not eating and sick, but all Vet test results so far show no problems?

It seems obvious but I just thought I'd throw it out there...could be feline leukemia. I had a 12 year old cat who got it and it seemed to take forever for them to diagnose him. He started out with a low fever, vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy...etc. We took him to the vet who told us he was dehydrated from the vomiting and diarrhea (and because he had all but stopped eating and drinking) and then sent him home. But the sickness continued. He stopped eating and drinking and slept all the time. He meowed like he was in pain but didn't seem to flinch when he was prodded or petted. We had him back and forth from the vet several times. They never found anything until we specifically asked for the FeLV test. Most cats are tested as kittens and are vaccinated if they are at risk so they never even thought to test him. FeLV can also present as signs of anemia, dehydration, kidney disease, and other lesser problems since it causes a host of things to go wrong with kittys body. After we finally had him tested and it came back positive, we decided to have him put down. But it was a long battle just to get him diagnosed. If your kitty hasn't been tested for it yet, definitely ask your vet to run the test. It's about 42 dollars and it only takes 10 minutes for results. Kitties also seem to lose their appetite if their sense of smell is disrupted. If your kitty is on meds, or has a stuffed up nose that can be a reason he might not want to eat. You could also try giving the cat some probiotics to boost his ability to digest food. When kitties are sick for awhile their stomach's digestive enzymes break down and it makes it harder for them to digest things..Whatever the problem with your kitty is, you can't force feed forever (even if you might want to) you might be better off to put the kitty down if he isn't showing signs of improvement soon. It's hard to lose a pet, but it might be better for both of you in the end. :( Hope everything works out for the best.

If you eat something and have to poop immediately after does that mean you won't gain weight from that meal?

No. It means that your digestive tract is working as it should. Ideally, we should be “voiding” after each meal. Most people only “void” once or twice a day. What you have gotten rid of, was a meal you ate several hours prior. In fact, you can go with no food for several days and still void. Each intake, the body breaks down what you have taken in. It takes from the food, what the body requires to fuel it by going through the esophagus to the stomach, then to the duodenam, small intestine then the large intestine and finally out the anus. Many people think that when they go to the bathroom right after a meal, they are voiding what they have just eaten. It takes 6–8 hour's for the food to pass through your system. You can also be constipated and have diarrhea at the same time. The liquid will get through the blockage for the body to evacuate what is irritating your digestive system. People with digestive tract issues, missing organs go through this more frequently.

I bought a pack of Stacker 2 Yello Hornet energy pills from a gas station and I without reading took 2?

I took 2 pills at once, and now I feel sick? I went to the hospital already but the doc told me to drink water and and juice and that should flush the medication right out of my system. At first before I went to the hospital, the pills had me shacking really bad, and I was dizzy and my heart rate was soring to like 102. I have took the doc's advice already ....I mean I have took 3 poos already and urinated numerous of times and still 21 hours later I still feel sick to my stomach and nasuas. What can I do to feel better, I don't want to puke, that is gross! Any suggestions? The pill is Stacker 2 Yellow Hornets, it is an energy pill.

Should I retake medication if I throw up?

The significance of whether or not to retake depends on what the medication is and whether it's a solid or liquid form.  Liquids are absorbed quicker, so more medication will have been absorbed within a particular time compared to a tablet or capsule which has to dissolve first.  For the Emergency Contraceptive Pill, we advise retaking if vomit within 3 hours of taking (but then the consequences are more serious).

Some medication specifies to take it on an empty stomach 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal. Shouldn't both conditions be true?

No, it does not mean that you can take it right after a meal as long as you don't eat for another two hours. Here is how to break down those instructions:Whatever medication it is, it is absorbed best from an empty stomach. Having food in your stomach can change the conditions in your stomach, such as acidity level or the amount of churning your stomach does. So, this particular medication works best on empty stomach conditions. In order to give the medication these empty stomach conditions to work properly, there are two "choices" to achieve an empty stomach. #1: take the medication 1 hour before a meal. This is assuming you haven't eaten in a few hours, so your stomach is currently empty. Taking the medication one hour before eating gives it enough time to get in and get absorbed by your stomach, before food comes in after it. #2: take the medication two hours after eating. This is also assuming that you won't be eating soon after taking it. Taking it 2 hours after eating gives the food that you ate enough time to pass through your stomach and into your intestine. Then, your stomach will be empty again for the medication to enter it.Overall, depending on how many times per day you need to take the medication, it is easiest to take the medication between meals, as long as it is TWO HOURS after you last ate, and ONE HOUR before you plan to eat again.

I got drunk last night and i still feel sick.?

You need to excrete the toxins from the alcohol out of your body--which are also being stored in your muscle tissue. Try taking a hot shower and rubbing your shoulders, neck, and head with a little lotion. Try doing some deep breathing our light stretching--this might help with the dizziness.

You are also slightly dehydrated--causing nausea and and headaches. Try drinking more water--or tea--and try eating citrus fruits or ginger--as this helps reduce nausea. Sometimes it's better just to throw up--as the acids help release a chemical response that helps inhibit more vomiting. Plus, you could still have undigested material in your stomach/esophagus that is making you sick.

Other than that, it pretty much seems like a legit hangover. Just ride it out, drink water, and rest. Stay away from caffeine, eat lightly, and try taking some Advil. ::)
