I Was Thinking Of Buying A Headset For My Xbox One And I Was Wondering If Any Of The Razer Kraken

What is the best gaming headset out for Xbox One?

It really depends on your budget. Pretty much any headset will work with the adapter, but if you have a surround sound headset you wont be able to get surround sound just by plugging it in to the controller. To get surround sound you'll need a separate component to connect to the xbox one, like the astro a50's and steelseries h wireless have. If you dont care about surround sound and just want a good stereo headset, I'd go with the turtle beach xo sevens. They seem to have the best reviews of the made-for-xbox-one headsets (the others being the polk 4shot and turtle beach xo4). If you want a top of the line wireless surround sound headset, I'd go with either the astro a50s or the steelseried h wireless. They both retail for $300 which of course is a lot of money but these are the best you'll find. You can even get the a50s manufacturer refurbished on amazon for $200.
I, personally, am waiting to see what headsets are in the works before I purchase anything. I recommend the xo7 for you.

How can I connect my Steel Series Siberia v2 headset to my xbox 360 AND my monitor?

Hi. I work for SteelSeries so I can definitely help you with the headset part of your question. Our headset connects to Xbox's via 2 connections. 1. Plug the USB into an available USB port on the Xbox. 2. Plug the 2 RCA jacks (red and white) into the audio cables coming out of the Xbox (also red and white). Xbox has various cables options. Unless you have the HDMI / optical cable, you should have the red and white RCA plugs to plug into. Our RCA plugs have feedthrough plugs so you can also plug them into something else (like a TV), but sounds like you are going directly into a monitor that doesn't have speakers.

I think the other part of your question is how to connect the video from the Xbox to your monitor. That also depends on which of the Xbox cables you are using. If you are using the one with S-video you may need an adapter to go into the VGA D-sub connector on the monitor. Maybe something like this: http://www.purplus.net/vicatosviand.html or http://compare.ebay.com/like/370455057051?var=lv<yp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar.

If you say which of the types of xbox cables you are using I could be more specific on the adapter choice.

Razer headsets vs turtle beaches?

which one would be recomended a razer headset or turtle beach's?
I am primarily a pc player but i also play on the ps3 and accasionaly the xbox, I dont know much about turtle beach's so i'll take suggestions on what to get for those and for razer i was looking at getting the razer tiamet after it comes out but if you think they have better ones go ahead and suggest it.

*also if there are any other companies out there that also good headsets feel free to mention them

*if you choose to answer this i would like reasons on why you feel the headset is worth getting, why it is better, and please nothing where you just say the other sucks i want some sort of reason behind why it sucks

Should I get the Razer Kraken pro v2?

Should you get the Razer Kraken Pro V2? You should consider if you want it or not, because there are other companies that also offer great gaming headsets. Not only there is Razer, but also Corsair, Logitech G, HyperX, and many more.Razer’s Kraken Pro V2 is quite a bulky headset with 50mm drivers. It has a retractable mic that snugs inside your headset and it’s compatible with Xbox and Playstation. Now for $80, I’m honestly not sure, considering that there are other options you can get from a cheaper price. Besides, I heard Razer made with cheap plastic, but I think the issue has been fixed for these headsets.Corsair has some good line-ups for gaming headsets, the Void Pro and the Wireless. You have the USB Version coming at $80 and it even has RGB on the headsets, but not necessary anyway. There’s even the Void Pro Wireless coming at just $100. An actual $100 wireless RGB headset and comparing that to Razer’s Man-O-War’s and Logitech’s G533’s and G933’s price, that’s a steal right there!HyperX has two line-up I know of. The Cloud Stinger and the Cloud II. The Cloud Stinger is priced at $50. It has a foldable mic that turns on when you put it downand turns it off when put back at its upright position. It also has the 50mm speakers like what Razer has also. The Cloud II is a critically acclaimed (From users I know) headset that comes with a USB 7.1 sound card and it’s priced at $100. Honestly, I’d spend $20 more on those pairs of headsets!
