I7 Processor Vs Good Graphic Card

How good is a intel core i7 processor?

you have the 720qm if memory serves. you have 4 physical cores with hyper threading for a total 8 (4 physical + 4 logical.) you have one of the fastest mobile cpus on the market. any game will run on that machine for at least 4 years to come. i have that same cpu in my machine and run black ops and bfbc2 without any problem. you're good, theres is noting to worry about.

I5 Vs i7 Processor?

So I'm building up new PC and I have everything in my head of which parts I want to buy except one......is there any reason for me(besides paying more) to go with i7 over i5?
We are talking about gaming PC so I need opinion of someone who both has/had both i5 and i7 processors of which one in their personal experience is better and as I said is there seriously any reason why I should go with i7 except the reason it costs more?

Why is an i7 processor better for graphic design?

If you plan to frequently use software to edit images, render 3D-animation, edit videos or any of the like that requires massive amount of computation (if you're not familiar with how much processing is done to achieve a task like rendering a 3D-plot of data for say a math function, then use your intuition to gauge the complexity of the task. Generally, the more complex the task, the more strain on the processor), then you may want to get a high-end processor.

The most recent processor enables fast and more computation to be done to accomplish tasks required by programs. Generally, the faster the processor, the better the programs run. For gamers it means less frames-per-second "lag" (with a good graphics card). For graphics designers, it means a better likelihood that your program won't crash while you're doing something ambitious like modeling the human body with digital clay (more polygons = more details = more computation).

Will a Intel i7 processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 6700 graphics card, and a 4GB memory card be suitable for gaming?

If this is for planning a new build, go with an i3 processor and use the $150-200 you saved on a better video card. If you're talking about an existing system, I think the 6700 might be an embedded laptop chip (???) in which case you're sorta out of luck in terms of an upgrade since we're talking about a laptop here. If it was a typo and you meant GTX 670, then I personally use a Radeon HD 7870 XT  which has nearly identical performance to the 670. You'll be totally fine with that. In terms of RAM, as much as you might hear it, gaming never uses up more than 8GB of RAM. In fact, my system previously used an intel Pentium G3258 processor with 8GB RAM, and I use Rainmeter gadgets to monitor RAM consumption constantly. Never gone above 6GB of RAM usage on Windows 7 or Windows 10, while gaming, with like 30 Chrome tabs open in the background. If you don't leave Chrome open while gaming and utilize Razer Game Booster, your 4GB should be OK but I'd recommend upgrading later to 8GB when you have the cash. After all, DDR3 is getting cheap as hell ($33 for 2 x 4GB kit on sale).

Should I get a laptop with an i7 processor and an integrated graphics card or an i5 processor with a NVidia 920 card?

Between the two choices: Get the i5 with the Nvidia 920. There are many versions of the mobile i5 and i7. I suspect that you are looking at the more mainstream, or Ultra Low Voltage (U) versions. (Not the super expensive ones that come in 10 pound laptops). In that case, both the i7 and i5 are dual core with Hyperthreading, both with similar performance. If the i7 is an expensive mobile quad core, we might re-evalutate. The Nvidia card will do MUCH better than integrated. (Though integrated graphics have come a long way). Dedicated VRAM would be best.Alternatively: Could you get an i5, and a 2gb 940m? This is a VERY common pairing in deals I see, and the 940m  markedly outperforms the 920m.  The 840m and 940m are very similar, both based on Maxwell. Keep in mind, if you are a gamer- both the 920 and 940 are "GT" cards, not "GTX." This doesn't matter unless you intend to use "Shadowplay." (Which hasn't worked toooo well on my desktop with a few games I tried). I'm not sure of any other worthwhile features.ALSO: If either comes with a 5400rpm hard drive, plan on replacing it with a SSD. I love my i5-4210 + 840m 2gb, but that laptop was (just like my others) slow as BALLS. My friend has a 7200rpm hard drive in a i5-5200 + 940m and he destroyed my load times. (His were not great either).I put a kingston V300 SSD (good price) in, and it's night and day. 15 seconds (A snapchat length) from a cold boot and I'm buffered and watching Netflix. It was 5 minutes before, and it ran horrid anyway.

I am looking for a laptop with i7 processor, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD and 2GB Nvidia graphics. What are some good laptops with these specifications?

Since you haven't mentioned details for operating system, I can safely assume that you have the knowledge to install an operating system of your choice.I'll suggestLenovo Core i7 6th Gen - (8 GB/1 TB HDD/DOS/2 GB Graphics) 80SM01HVIH Ideapad 310 NotebookSpecsDedicated Graphics Memory - 2 GBProcessor - Intel core i7 , 6th generationGraphic Processor - NVIDIA geForce N16V-GMR1RAM - 8 GBHDD - 1 TBScreen Size - 15.6 inch (1366 × 768 pixel resolution)Operating system - DOSPrice - around 50kPersonally I'd prefer buying a laptop with SSD instead of HDD, and use external hard drive for backup. This gives a lot boost to speed and performance.Hope this helps. :)
