Iam Suffering From Mental Pressure For 23 Years.pls Do Help

24 years old and blood pressure was 130/100?

Normal blood pressure is accepted as :-
Systolic = (the upper number) 100 - 140
Diastolic = (lower number) 60 - 90
Blood pressure fluctuates all the time, the
measurement will not be exactly the same
from minute to minute, and even varies at
different parts of the day, what you are doing,
and how you are feeling will also be reflected
in the reading.
You will push it higher simply by trying to find
a cause for why you think it is higher than it
should be, when it is in fact perfectly normal.

Just like to add, although completely irrelevant,
I'm 67 and average 118/73

I am 21 years old and my blood pressure says 160/90. The doctor has advised two medications. How do I mentally remain strong and what should I do?

I can relate to your condition and let me assure you you should not worry too much.Please undergo a routine health check once a year and continue the medicines prescribed by your physician .Hyper Tension can be due to medical reasons or just essential Hyper Tension.Once you go for a routine check they will find out if there is something wrong with your system and they will treat you for that and the high Bp will reduce.However if you are an otherwise healthy person then you have Essential Hyper Tension and let me assure you that you can continue a normal life without any worry as long as you swallow the meds.I assume you are a normally healthy person and hence just go right ahead and live a full life.Please do go for a checkup and confirm the reason/no reason for the BP and act accordingly.Kindly also note that Blood Pressure is a highly fluctuating parameter and hence you should avoid constant hourly/daily measurement.The readings will vary dramatically and drive you crazy. Even if you have the machine and the time to measure the pressure ,avoid becoming hyper about it.Please follow A low salt diet and other instructions a given by your doctor.Wish you good luck.

Is my Blood Pressure To Low? How Could it be so Low when my Stress is so High?

I just got my blood pressure taken, Im a 23 year old male, it read 93/67.

But I thought BP was related to stress, and I am very stressed all the time, as I work graveyard shifts plus a day job, (60 hours a week total for minimum wage jobs) sleep about 4-5 hours a night, and am going to school full time at the same time.

I always feel very stressed, so how is it so low? and is it to low?

Does high blood pressure always stay high?

Hypertension as it is known can be caused by a number of factors such as obesity, and excessive cholesterol in the diet or smokingand/or drinking.

140/90 is borderline hypertension. In pregnancy blood pressure does increase so don't worry.

If you continue to maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle, and incorporate exercise into this, you can help yourself to drop your blood pressure.

It is a shame that you do not mention what your BP was before your pregnancy.

If you are concerned, you can ask your GP to prescribe antihypertensive drugs on a low dosage.

Unless this is a hereditory condition, there is no reason why you should always be hypertensive.
