Ideas For A Story For My Best Friend

A good friend stole my idea?

Wow, deja vu! This was exactly what happened to me only my friend showed her story to me, not a friend.

You know how I took care of this? I pulled her aside and told her that our stories were too similar. I was happy my work inspired her but I needed the idea for the competition and I didn't appreciate her forging it. I asked her to please write something different.
:)
She made a smart move by editing her story into something completely different(although she was unhappy about it).
You need to be stern but polite and if she refuses to change her story, come up with something better. You obviously have the skill. If this girl can't even come up with her own material, you can always challenge it with something far more exciting.

It's a shame that she plagiarized your work. I know the feeling. In the end, be happy that your stroke of genius was enough to inspire her. She found something great in your work which says enough.

Good luck!

Title for a story about best friends in love?

It's hard to pick a title for a book that you haven't read. Because I think the best titles are ones that apply to a theme that's been going from the start, but isn't the most obvious thing.

Something about the characters. Or something to do with a quote that applies perfectly.

A bit like... have you read Pride and Prejudice? I think it's a perfect name for the novel, but it's something that someone could only pick if they'd read it.

From the brief description you've given for your novel, the only titles I can think of are really shallow and cliched ones that apply to any friends who fall in love.

My friend stole my idea help!!!!!?

The same thing always happens to me, in-school for assignments, and out-of-school when I write my real novel. I deal with it by not talking to my friend at all, but by trying harder to write better than she does. It's like a competition that only I know about.
That isn't the best way to deal with it, though. The best way would be to sit down and talk with her, being mature. Explain everything. Talk about - ugh, I know! - feelings.
If she still doesn't understand maybe she just isn't a great friend. Start writing your book without telling her about anything that happens. Maybe tell her that you have "given up" on writing it, but continue if it's something you enjoy.
Good luck.

Names for Best Friends who are girls for my story?

1. (Christy, Jenna, Kaylene, Gemma, Courtney) Chestnut brown hair that falls just below her shoulders. Often put in a braid. Wide, innocent deer eyes that are a few tones lighter than her hair. A big and welcoming smile hidden by thin, pale pink lips

2. (Natalie, Joy, Christina, Jessa, Nicolette) Hair that is dyed multiple crazy colors. Dark olive eyes that are framed with thick lashes. High defined cheek bones and an ever present snarky expression on her face.

3. (Rosa, Tatianna, Rose, Natalia, Roberta) Tanned skin and curly dark brown hair that's almost black. Straight across bangs. She's Italian. Mysterious and thoughtful hazel eyes that are almond shaped. Underdeveloped body

4. (Olivia, Alana, Kinsey, Blaire, Selene) Wavy and flowy red hair that ends just below her chest. Pale, milky skin that looks like porcelain. Small, amber colored eyes with long lashes. Hourglass figure. Big, pouty lips.

5. (Marissa, Alyssa, Katie, Diana, Summer ) White blonde hair and curious pale blue eyes. Cut short, just above her shoulders. Poker straight. Her skin is also pale; almost sickly.

Hope that helps :)

Help/Ideas/Brainstorming, writing a story about my best friend?

I want to write a novel about my best friend, but I don't really know where to begin. I'm "writing her a boy", because she's had so many bad relationships recently. Her name is Marisa, she's loud, laughs all the time, is one-quarter Lebanese and the rest Italian, and she's really funny. She is religious, but likes to party. She loves music, sings and plays the guitar and a little piano. She loves Glee, goes to Catholic school (and hates it), and and doesn't get along with her family much.

Help is appreciated!

Love story ideas....?

I have an amazing idea...i'm going through a crazy love story at the mo......I have been falling for my best friend for a while! A few months ago, we were talking and his friend came up to us and told me that my best friend wanted to take me to prom but didn't have the balls to ask! Then in the summer i finally gave up and rang him and he denied.....but a few weeks ago he admited to my other friend that he lied on the phone and that he actually liked me and she told him i liked him too! Now we're going out but everythings a little awkward as we are both desperately shy. We have been going out for around 2 weeks and we sit next to each other on the bus back from college every week day but other than that we don't talk to eachother much! We haven't even held hands yet!! :/....anyway I think, if you come up with a romantic ending, then it would make an awesome love story...and please, if you use my idea..could you email me a copy of the story....Hope I helped <3 Love Grace!

14 year old girl best friend gift ideas.?

Maybe you can do something like that too, but a more funny version of it. Just buy a diary or something thats big, and paste really funny pics from every year that has the funny moments you both shared, emberrasing moments, inside jokes, etc. Then you can title the book "Our Black Book" I dunno lol. Just make it really funny. Cute things are nice, but their so boring and easy to forget, but funny things are hard for people to let go off, and thats what friendships tend to be about most of all, how much fun you have with someone. You can do this on a CD too if you want with a nice song playing.

Any good ideas for a poem to read at my best friends wedding?

best friends

as time rolled by
like a massive wave
we never split
we never caved

and now here you are
shimmering in white
tieng the knot
in sheer delight

i give you all my love
and hope that you
and the man who stole you away from me
fly
like the stars above

but dont forget me
the girlwho shared
secrets and crushes
and never despaired
in sadness happiness anger and fright
ill always be here
to help you through the dark nights
best friends for ever
written by you apparently!!

This depends from person to person and how well you know your friends. For example, I know that my best friend absolutely HAAAATES hanging fairy string lights, but she just LOOOOVES how they look and how they make my house, indoors and outdoors, look. So, what did I do? I ordered some string lights from Koopower, and then I went to her place (checked if she was there by phone call, first), and surprised her with the lights, some alcohol, and we proceeded to spend the day together decorating her house. When we finished, it looked something like thisExcept for the flag. Needless to say, she was absolutely OVERJOYED at the result and told me she loved (as a friend, obviously) and how much she appreciated it. We were a bit tipsy by the end, but the result was well worth the time and effort we took to achieve it.So, to reiterate - depending on just how good friends are you with them as well as how good you know them, the present can be anything from simple cheap jewelry to show that you care a bit, but not to much, to day-long projects that will show your friend just how much you love, care and listen to them.
