Identify By Name A Motion Picture That You Think Fulfills Aristotle

How do you find a movie title if you only remember details of the plot?

This is bound to be tricky in that there are far more plots than movies ;-)Others have suggested searching IMDB with cast or character names (if you can remember them) or plot keywords but I would suggest that other great resource - friends. If you can remember someone you knew around the time you saw that movie - even if you didn't see it with them - ask them. "Remember when we working on the Jones project and there was that film about the guy who turned out to be a CIA triple agent but we only found out after his ID was found in the alligators stomach? What was that called?" Human memeory search functions aren't as precise as databases but they can cope with very ropy data!

I have almost zero motivation, but I feel I have so much potential...?

I was like you: Always thinking about how much I knew about medicine when im not around my friends, they never knew who I really was. I knew that I can really help people, like on here (not really sure how I got so many points and Top Contributor for only joining in August) but I never felt like I would do anything good with it. It's almost like im taking the "easy way out" in life and never doing what I want.

What you have to do is look at all you have. If you know you could really excel at something do it, no matter how hard. The way I got past this was saying to myself, "I wont go through life never knowing what it's like to go into a field of medicine, I just can't", and it really helped. Although I am still a senior in high school and not even in college yet, im going for Paramedic if it kills me. If it doesn't work out, at least I did what I promised myself to.

The biggest thing is regrets, you DON'T want to live with regrets, especially big ones that could decide your fate. Actually it was just yesterday: I was in Business/Personal Financing, and we had to create a "Future Financial Plan" with short term and long term goals. I have to say, some of the things I typed seemed unreal, but only to the teacher...because they don't know me or what I have; niether do my parents. They wont know what I will do after high school or what im doing now to get there, but I WILL do it and they're left in the dust, and that's all that matters. Sometimes when you dream of your life as a movie or your favorite show, it could happen because when you look at it, your life really is a show.

You have to just do what you think is right, don't feel like your forced to be smart because you'll never know what it's like to have the life you want because you only get one. I wouldn't want to waste my life knowing that I did things just to please other people- For now it's all about you. Write down all your goals like I did in my business class and do whatever it takes to get to them. Stop dreaming and looking into the future, just live the moment for now until you know how your going to get there, that's the hardest part.

What are the differences between voluntary & involuntary action? Who or what controls them? Why do we have voluntary action, especially when nature seems to have perfected involuntary acts, e.g. a heartbeat?

Who or what controls them ?Voluntary actions : You yourself control these actions.Example: Someone slaps you hard, and you slap them back or yell at them or burst into tears or shut up in a shock. These are all voluntary actions.Involuntary actions : The brain signals control these actions.Example: Someone slaps you hard, you turn pink/red/blue/green. This is an involuntary reaction. If this were voluntary, every person on earth would want to hide the marks on their face with all their might. Why do we have voluntary action, specifically when nature seems to have perfected involuntary acts like heart beat?Voluntary actions : They are more or less like the wants in life. They are the ways in which you fulfill your basic needs. You could survive without some or all of these for a while.Example : How do you make money for the food, shelter and clothing. How do you lead a luxurious life or what do you do to fulfill your desires.Involuntary actions : They are the basic needs of your life. Without these, you cease to exist. We know how to breathe, how to circulate blood, how to purify blood, how to digest food, how to throw out excess wastes out of the body, but we know not how to find food, how to get water, how to keep the body warm with these voluntary actions.Example: Heartbeat, digestion, reflex actions, all the internal body functions.Yes, it is possible to replace some of these now a days with machines to get us going, like life support systems or a pace maker or dialysis system. But these are not yet fully and perfectly replaceable as a healthy human body functions today. Is it a case of every living creature being capable of making voluntary decisions at different levels and that there is no such thing as 'involuntary' , or vice versa?Every living creature is capable of making voluntary decisions as long as they want to at any level and time, but only with the help of Involuntary actions. The involuntary actions are the pre-preqs to our living. If you have only the ability to Voluntary actions and earn multi folds of money and your heart stops beating or the kidneys fail, you are as good as a dead man.If you have all the involuntary functions running good in your body, but have no means to food and water, you starve yourself to death one day, someday. One without the other is handicapped. These both need to co-exist for us humans to exist.

Is there a site that I can find out stuff about Galileo Galilei?

Try these sites.

Whats the difference between Islam and Greek myths?

With respect to feasibility of either being right?

Had the ancient Greeks such as Aristotle, Plato, Socrates and others compiled a book and ascribed it to some God (say Zeus) surely that book would have been the most intellectually advanced religious book ever.

Oh yeah theres about as much as evidence for Islam as there is for those myths, and the so called caricatured 'miracles' of the Koran is nothing compared to the works of the Greeks, in fact many of the so called miracles found in the Koran were known before by the Greeks (e.g. embryology)

What is the main aim of education?

Let me keep it real simple for this one,Education gives us the ability to differentiate between what is right and wrong, what is immoral and moral & what is just and unjust.Education gives a person hope to solve the problems humanity faces today.Education gives you the power to question anything wrong.Education helps you learn the right way to execute yourself and behave positively.Education helps you find the truth and it forces you to think in different aspects.Proper education removes ill beliefs. It makes you more aware and confident. The aim/purpose of education is to grow children into productive citizens that use their knowledge, talents, and learned skills to sustain themselves and help others while pushing the human race forward in areas of equality, equity, and harmony.‘Education’ is still the key.

Is happiness the ultimate goal of life?

Happiness is important to living a fulfilling yet satisfying life. But in life, happiness is also another detail, except, that detail is the one that many strive to achieve which makes its importance seem to be the one thing that you need to have. In order to be happy, you need to accept that life is not perfect and that the bright sides to life often overcome the dark sides. Though the dark sides to life can be heart-breaking, frustrating, etc, the bright sides often take a toll later when you realize the purpose, why it happened, etc. When you have no idea why bad things happen to you, you get stuck in this vortex of “you are bad”, “you deserved this”, “you don’t deserve to live”, etc. You start to think that your life is a curse when it is not intentionally trying to do you harm. Life has its problems, but often those problems have its purpose, meaning, etc. Those problems in life can teach you wise lessons not learned in school, work, etc. or help you become a better individual. The most important thing in life (my opinion) is that we are able to discover ourselves through the thick and thin, the troubles, the hurt, the suffering times, etc. That we are able to express our true selves and live happy, knowing and accepting our life as it is.What is more important, is self-actualization and knowing your identity to this world.Beyond that lies all the little details in life, where happiness is the first detail to achieve (though some may choose not to accomplish).
