You have a great response actually. Interview boards are looking for TRUTHFUL answers not sugar coated. Everybody KNOWS they are not going to treat a regular person the same as their own friend. The best situation in this is to contact another officer. This is what they WANT to hear. Because they know when you are sugarcoating it. They hear it all the time. They are not looking for this idiot that will arrest his own mother for going 5 miles over the speed. Your answer is what they wanted to hear!! Good Luck.
Would the guy get arrested if an underage girl got pregnant before he's 18 in CA?
Her keeping or not keeping the baby will not have any effect upon whether or not her boyfriend is prosecuted. Dr. Luv, Lori B, and Jack are all wrong in claiming that no crime was committed (although I have misread California Penal Code section 261.5 that way myself). It is unlawful in California for anybody to have sex with anybody else who is under the age of 18. However, with an age difference of less than 3 years, it is a misdemeanor. (Note that since she was 15, if he had been 10 years older, it could be felony child molesting under Penal Code section 288, subd. (c).) Finally, individuals do not "press charges" in the sense of initiating criminal prosecutions. That is done by prosecuting attorneys. Since he was 17, this would be filed, if it is filed at all, in the juvenile court. I doubt very much that the juvenile court would be very concerned with a boy who is now 18 having sex with his younger girlfriend, though they may want to make sure he is on the hook for child support.

A few months ago I called the police on my abusive boyfriend, I had enough and decided it had to be done. He was arrested..Anyways, one of the officers that came was very nice and friendly with me and gave me his number and told me to call if anything was wrong. I never did, but he called me recently and asked how I was, and we have been talking almost everyday now, and he just recently asked me out on a date which I was really surprised when he did. He is very kind and sweet but is this allowed? I mentioned it to him, my situation, just getting out of an abusive relationship and him being the one who arrested my ex but he doesnt seem to care at all and is very persistent. He calls everyday and has made it very clear he is interested in more than friendship.
How do i stop my boyfriend from arranged marriage?
Today his mother called him saying she was sick I think she is lying ... He said she wants to see his son marry before she dies .. I'm so distraught and I love him so much .. He has been in me and my sons life for a while now .. He says Iran love is different ... To Australian love .. I don't believe so ... I believe that when you love a person you will give up everything for them .. And you will stand by them as long as u can .. I want to marry him ... And I am now pregnant ... How can I stop this from happening ?? I want him to be around his child ... But how do I tell him I'm pregnant without him thinking I'm just saying it so he will stay ? He says he is sorry and he loves me and my son . But he has to do this for his mum ... Can anyone explain how Iranian love is different ... I want to be a cop but my significant other smokes weed?
I m currently enrolled in criminal justice program to earn my bachelors in criminal justice. I understand that if I want to have some experience in law enforcement it s a good opportunity to become a police officer. My boyfriend smokes weed. If I become an officer and he won t stop smoking would it be illegal for me to knowingly allow him to continue to use? I m asking if my career would be separated from my life outside of work. We have been talking about getting married. I m afraid his use will be an obstacle in the future. I have friends who smoke it too. Do I just kick them from my life? Do I move out with my significant other or break up? Or can I just stay away and ignore it? This won t be an issue for a few more years. I just want insight on the subject. It s Prolly stupid question but I m curious. Thanks.

In India, the story is different.A woman's word that you raped her, is enough to land you in prison for a day at the very least, until you get bail. Then, the burden of proof remains on the accused(that is, on the man) to prove that he did not rape her. The court relies on the sole testimony of the woman.There are several laws in the country which are enormously anti-men, especially the anti-dowry law in which a husband's whole family can be put in jail, if a woman says that she was harassed by her in-laws or by her husband. And bear in mind, that she does not need to provide a shred of evidence to back up what she is saying. What I am implying is, a woman's word is as good as a conviction.In short, the answer to your question is, nothing protects a man against a false rape accusation in India.There was a case some time back, where a businessman was arrested for raping a girl at the behest of an IAS officer. Later it turned out that the girl was in cahoots with the IAS and had connived with him to trap the businessman.Even policemen in India claim they are helpless in such cases. If they do not make an arrest then the media will bay for their blood and self-styled human activist groups will stage a protest. Feminist groups will demand the rapists' head.
