If Hillary Wins The Nomination For Democratic Candidate For Potus Who Would Be A Better Candidate

How will you feel if the Democrats nominated Hillary Clinton again in 2020?

I’d be astounded. But it’s not going to happen. The last time I know of that a party re-nominated a candidate who had lost in a previous election was 1968, when the Republicans re-nominated Nixon. The Democrats nearly re-nominated Hubert Humphrey in 1972, but McGovern won out — and was completely destroyed.Hillary is done, and I say that with some very mixed feelings. She deserves a lot better than she has gotten from America. She’s not remotely as corrupt or dishonest as some people have painted her. I think she would have made a pretty good president, certainly far better than the idiot who actually won. Having said that, she is a flawed candidate with enormous piles of baggage, the worst of which is now the fact that she was upset in the 2016 election by a man unqualified to be a dog catcher. The Democrats would NEVER be foolish enough to re-nominate her.Additionally, she was 68 last I heard, which would make her 72 in 2020, which seems pretty old to me. Granted, Trump is only slightly less old, but still, I think the Democrats should go younger next time.

Would the Democratic Party nominate Hillary Clinton and allow her to run as their candidate again against President Trump in 2020 if she insisted and demanded the nomination?

Hillary Clinton wouldn’t “insist” or “demand” the DNC nomination because, as a seasoned politician, she knows (as apparently you don’t) that the two major parties don’t nominate candidates just because the candidate really, really wants to be nominated. They nominate the one that they believe is most likely to be successful in the end. Not because s/he’s easier on the eyes than another candidate, or because s/he’s really friendly or photogenic or a popular TV star, but because they think s/he has what it takes to lead the nation forward for the next four years. The right wing media has gone to a lot of trouble accusing Hillary Clinton of being arrogant and entitled and “demanding” to be “coronated,” but that’s pure propaganda. The idea behind such accusations was to depict her as an uppity woman….….just as the idea behind this picture was to depict Obama as an uppity black guy, and thereby raise the hackles of their followers:

Who do you see as the Democratic front-runner for the presidential nomination in 2020?

The 2020 election is going to be a certain win for the Democrats and as in 2008 whoever the Democrats nominate will be certain to win. This means that in the Democrat primary elections the concern will not be winning the General Election but nominating the best Democrat to accomplish the Party agenda. The new president will be expected to reverse the last fifty years of increasing redistribution of wealth from the poor to the rich.In the 2020 election the Democrats are going to nominate a candidate who will lessen the economic inequality. Expand Civil Rights, Voting Rights, Restrictions on Corporate power, Labor legislation, Government programs for the bottom 80%. Entitlements will be expanded and increased. Medicare for all. Taxes will be raised. Environmental laws will be passed. Infrastructure repaired and improved. There will be court reform. All the candidates agree, and it will be a race to the left. It will have to be a woman nominee because it is an unfulfilled promise from the last election where Hillary won the popular vote and lost. Kristen Gillibrand is among the leaders now and will be the eventual Democratic nominee.Warren is now perceived to the left of Gillibrand but Gillibrand is going to out left her. As Gillibrand Pushes Left, Her Economic Agenda Tilts to Populism. Gillibrand is easily the cleverest of the bunch with the best political instincts. She is on track with the Democratic voters and will pass all the tests. She is not hated like Hillary, she will start out behind but by Super Tuesday 2020 she will have the nomination secured. The Democrats will be united under a common vision, certain not of just victory but historic majorities. This will be the most transforming American election since 1860, only this election will be the true uniting and coming together of America. The American promise fulfilled. The glory of America made manifest to all humanity.Kristin Gillibrand, the Democrats, and America will relearn and sing this former anthem. Indeed children will smile and laugh, there will be joy in America.Happy days are here again The skies above are clear again So let's sing a song of cheer again Happy days are here again…

Democrats: what do you think about Hillary?

Hillary Clinton has the experience and intelligence unlike the inexperienced Obama.

Can a candidate who lost a presidential election run again in the same party?

Nixon was the GOP nominee two different election cycles, lost the first time and won the presidency the second time he ran
