If I Am 5.9 127 Pounds 13 But Very Developed Am I Considered Fat

What is every song on your iPod or iTunes?

I have more than 1, 000. Maybe more than 2, 000!

I'm 5 feet tall. I need to lose 30 pounds and get to 5 stone (70lbs) to be at my ideal weight. How do I lose weight fast?

First, let me warn you about losing weight fast - it is dangerous.Ideally, you should have a target of 2-3 lbs a week at most (I assume when you say fast, you mean faster than this target). Losing more than that can cause a number of health-related issues.I will agree with Matt Jordan (your height/weight ratio is fine) though I'm loathe to use BMI as BMI was initially designed for testing large groups, not individuals. You're better off buying a set of calipers and calculating using that or using a seamstress tape and using the US Navy Calculator - Body Fat Calculator which might be a little more reasonable than BMI.It is also important to keep in mind the BMI scores for men and women will vary as women usually have higher body fat ratios than men, but what BMI doesn't factor in is actual body composition. Arnold Schwarzenegger, at his peak, would have calculated out to obese, even though his body-fat percentage would have been around 5-7% (if that). If you are not happy with your body shape, then that is a separate issue - exercises that target and tone specific areas might be a better option rather than an unreasonable push to "lose" weight. You can find exercises on ExRx (Exercise Prescription) on the Internet (complete with diet tips and guides on doing exercises properly) and use the Free Calorie Counter, Diet & Exercise Journal | MyFitnessPal.com is a good site to keep track and motivate yourself.Combining a proper diet and a progressive exercise program will help you control weight as well as body shape. Best of luck to you!

If you're an 11 year old a female and 124 pounds, are you overweight?

“Overweight” continues to be a rather difficult definition to pinpoint, yes?Age is not as an important factor for weight: height is. Let’s assume that you, the questioner, fits the description of the question. Average heights for an 11 year old female falls between approximately 63 inches (the low end), 65 (the middle), and 67 (the high end) (1). Other sources say between 55 and 66 inches (2). Let’s say that you fall somewhere in between that range, which truly is a big range. Now, let’s compare the height range with the weight range. A female between 55 and 66 inches should fall between 69 and 158 lbs (2). That is a greater range than the height range, yes? When someone is 11 years old, it is extremely difficult to say that there is an “ideal” weight or height or any other number of things. At this age, there are many different factors that play into how someone develops and some may develop faster or slower than others. Some of these factors include how active you are, your genetics, when you got your first period, how far along in puberty you are, etc. All of these different factors influence someone’s weight and it is impossible for someone to say whether or not you are overweight from a few facts. If you are getting the recommended amount of exercise (30 min 5x a week), eating healthy foods (5+ fruits/vegetables a day), and drinking enough water, then you should have nothing to worry about. Don't let a specific weight define you; don’t let your weight become your all. It is just a number - it can change. There are so many other important things in life. But if you really are concerned, talk to your parents or your doctor. They can better assess you for who you are and how healthy you are.(1) Average height for girls, height and weight growth charts(2) Normal Height & Weight for a School-Age ChildCheers.

People have called me anorexic. I'm 5'8″ and 105 pounds. I think I might be. What do I do?

You’re not quite anorexic, but you’re underweight, and close to anorexia.A person with a height of 5′8″ should weigh at least 125 lbs. [1]Being underweight indicates malnutrition. This will stunt body development, especially height growth, and general organ development, and because of that, your brain is also effected, meaning your cognitive abilities will be worse. Your body also requires food because it’s the bodies source of energy, so without enough, you’ll feel tired, and you’d probably die early too.My advice is to just eat more. And no, you’re not eating a lot already, and your weight proves that.Footnotes[1] Ideal Height and Weight Chart

How much calories are here?? PLEASE HELP!!?

ok well do this...
go to www.mcdonalds.com and go to nutrition facts and you can type in everything that you ate and it will sum of the total fat, calories, carbs.. everything!!!

but as for you eating too much... ARE YOU CRAZY GIRL! thats nothing, of course mcdonalds is bad for you but no you definately did not eat too much, dont worry... lol

ice cream- for a cup (which is alot) is about 500 calories... so 4 teaspoons (which is tiny) is probably like 80 calories if that!

I’m a teenage girl who weighs 110 pounds. I’m also 5’3″. Is it okay that I eat around 1000 calories a day? I’ve been eating like this for years.

If you actually ate 1000 calories per day you’d have died years ago. Your basal metabolism rate is about 1200 calories per day and if you dipped below that for too long you’d die of organ failure. If you are counting calories and targeting 1000 per day, you need to talk to a physician about treatment for your eating disorder. Untreated, you will eventually develop a fatal condition. At current, if you are starving yourself at age 13, you are inhibiting proper development and will have permanent health repercussions that will dog you throughout the rest of your life. That’s a terrible waste.

I’m a female, 5’3”, 129 lbs. I only eat around 750 cals a day. Is that bad?

Not knowing your age or activity level 750 is very low. Your maintenance calorie level can be anywhere from 1600–1800.At your current 750 calories per day you will certainly lose some weight in the near term but it will not be sustainable. A few things will happen at that low calorie level once you hit a weight loss plateau.Your metabolism will slow down and your body will begin to conserve as much fat as possible. Natures way of going into survival mode when sensing starvation.Once you return to normal calorie levels you will gain everything you lost plus a few pounds extra (yo yo effect)If you’re looking to lose weight slow and steady is the best. Look for 1 pound a week by reducing 250 calories a day plus exercising 250 calories a day for a total of 500 calories per day. At the end of the week you will have a 3500 calorie deficit which equals to a pound loss.

Is a 5'2 12 year old girl who weighs 137 pounds overweight?

Well...let's look at the data. According to the standard weight and stature charts available from the US National Center for Health statistics, and against which a pediatrician should be assessing your growth, a 12 year old girl who is 5'2" and 137lbs is right at the 95th percentile for weight (meaning fewer than 5% of 12 year olds weigh as much) and about the 77th percentile for stature (meaning fewer than 23% of 12 year olds are taller. In loose terms, someone in the 77th percentile for height is of average weight if they are also in the 77th percentile for weight. Being in the 95 percentile puts you above average, but how concerned you should be about that is not obvious--so.Let's plug your stats into the WebMb teen BMI estimator at FIT Teens BMI CalculatorAccording to these, you are smack in the middle of the overweight category, but not yet obese. So, the good news is, the younger you are, the easier it is to change. You might see amazing results just by playing outside like we did back in pre-Internet days. Or by switching to healthier snacks. I'll share a tip from my daughters----if you snack on apples and carrots, dad is a lot less likely to raid you shelf in the pantry.

Will I start to gain weight by eating 1100 calories a day?

When you starve yourself like that, it forces the body to conserve muscle and fat, which makes it ramp down your metabolism. You can actually force yourself into the slow metabolism of a turtle. At 13 your body is undergoing tremendous changes due to puberty, and you aren't giving your body what it needs to become an adult.

A diet is not about numbers on a scale... it is about achieving balance in nutrition so your body has what it needs to replace and repair tissue.

Hit a bookstore... even a used bookstore and check into the diets called "Fit for Life" or Somersize. The latter is a whole series that includes a lot of research and recipes. What you are going to be doing is separating carbohydrates from fats. For example, you can eat full-fat alfredo sauce over veggies and meats, but not over pasta (which would be a heart-attack on a plate). You can have a big salad with bacon, cheese and hardboiled eggs and your favorite greens and other veggies and be full.
Fats and protein fill you up and make you skinny while carbs make you hungry. Fruits are eaten completely alone... either an hour before a meal or two hours after a meal.
The idea of this is to get your body out of ketosis (your pancreas jumping on every darn thing) and into balance.

Add to this a reasonable exercise program and you will likely achieve your correct weight fairly fast.
