Unfortunately, Sony did not respond to this want until now. Without adding a credit card on file for an account, you wont be able to avail the trial version of PS plus. Although Sony would never deduct a payment from a credit card without your authorisation ever, that is not the point here.Since you do not have a Credit card, i guess there is no point fretting over the opportunity that is lost. Instead you can buy PS+ codes online using a Cash on delivery option or net-banking if you have a bank account.

I just got a ps4, the box came with a PlayStation plus 30 day trial, which needs a credit card number. I cant get a credit card number cause I don't have a damn credit card... I was wondering if there are psn cards with like 3-month PlayStation plus? kind of like how I've seen xbox live 3-month cards... i basically just want to play online multiplayer without any use of a credit card.... Ive herd that you can put money in your PSN wallet, can i buy a month of PlayStation Plus with currency in my playstation wallet????

Legally (even if a bit unethically) you can just open a ton of PSN accounts with free email names and keep claiming free trials.Any account on a PS4 can play online games requiring a PS+ membership so you can continue using your main account. You would not be able to keep downloaded games though so no help for that but if you just wanted to play online then ok. While this is maybe unethical then so is Sony requiring you to pay extra to use 80% of the content of some titles so I would not feel too bad about doing that.I have 3 PSN accounts though that is not the reason (I have a paid PS Plus). Main account is where I used to live and where my credit cards were issued and where I first bought a playstation, paid account is where I live now (can buy vouchers in shops), other is US as they have different demos (not free monthly games, I can only get those from store I pay for). I play on main account but pay for PS plus elsewhere. If Sony allowed you to move accounts (or do it easily) then I would have done but they don’t…… One other reason is some stores accept paypal and others don’t (unless I have been useless finding the right place to change) and I wanted one that did.

yes you can,, but the problem you have got is if you get free games from psn+ and after 3 months you dont subscribe you cant play them again till you subscribe again

You now have to download the PlayStation app on your phone or tablet. Create a new account and then log in to that account on the app on your tablet or phone. Then click on PlayStation plus and it will show you the option to get the 14 day free trial. This is the only way to get it without the two or three month option attached to it. It works just like the old way where you just click on it and agree and Walla you have ps plus for 14 days no other questions asked! :)

no way. if you buy a year-long card, you obviously dont have to pay any time during that year. your friend is wrong about the live. if he bought a 12 month card and put it on his system right now, he would NOT have to pay for any live until exactly one year from now. if he's still getting charges on his credit card, its not for live. xbox only charges you for live when you run out, IF you have a card on file.
