How to delete someone out of an iMessage group chat?

I accidentally said I liked someone in a group chat. Forgetting that they are in the chat. How do I kick them out of the chat or make them not see that one message. I deleted it but does that mean that he can't see it either? He wasn't texting or looking at the messages. He went to bed. I don't want him to see the message what do I do?

In Messages app, can you delete messages that you sent to someone so that they can't see it anymore?

Michael Vogel Is entirely correct — once you hit the "Send" button the iMessage is committed to being sent to Apple's servers as long as your device has a data connection. There's no simple way to cancel it even at this point. Even if you delete the message from the conversation thread — even if it is still in the process of being sent —your iOS device will still attempt to send it out in the background. Deleting a message only deletes your local copy of the message. About the only way to cancel an outgoing iMessage is to force it to fail to send before it finishes sending. For instance, if you were to kick your iOS device into Airplane Mode fast enough — basically immediately after hitting the "Send" button before it can send the message to Apple's servers — the message should eventually fail to send (this can still take a few minutes before iOS gives up, even in Airplane Mode). At this point, unless you choose to resend it manually, it won't be delivered to the recipient, regardless of whether you keep the local copy on your iPhone or remove it. See Can I cancel or ‘unsend’ sent iMessages? for more details.

We deleted our iCloud accounts and I made my own but its still happening. PLEASE HELP.

Can my ex read my iMessages?

Scenario: I have an iPhone 5 and MacBook Pro. I use iMessages a lot while working. My estranged wife (who lives in another country) has an iPhone and just received an iPad from her aunt.

Problem: We use the same Apple ID username and password. That way, the music library is shared and the apps for my son that was bought using my username could be accessed. I do not want to stop giving her access to the user and pw.

Question: If she has iMessage on that new iPad, can she read the messages i text with my iPhone that I send back and forth between my friends. There are some things I text my friends about my strained relationship with my wife that I would not prefer her to read.
