If I Had A Warranty On My Car And Had Something Fixed And It Broke Within Two Weeks But Warranty Is

My Craftsman- twin v air compressor keeps breaking the piston rod. I will have it fixed and it keeps breaking.?

Are you changing the Crank everytime too? If not the crankshaft is prob bad.

What warranty do you offer on bespoke software development?

I usually go for something like 2 months of warranty with free fixes, subscription or per-hour after that. If a bug hasn't been spotted after 2 months of exploitation - we can't be expected to find it during a one week testing phase. That being said, this has to be communicated VERY clearly with the clients. Sometimes they would sign the contract and call me 6 months later for a free fix because, you see, it's MY bug and I have to fix it. I try to politely explain that if your car breaks down 2 years after the end of the warranty period - Toyota or whoever are not going to fix it for free, and also point to the specific clause of the contract. Sometimes I would make an exception if it's a small fix but you have to draw a line somewhere. I've lost customers over a hassle about billing of 2 hours of work - for something that got broken because of a 3rd party API, after having provided one free fix already. With some customers it's like that - you're better off being firm with them, and if they walk away it's probably for the better.Agile is great but it only works well if they are paying on time & material basis - you pay me X per day, I do whatever the hell you want, I give you continuous integration and you have something new to play with every week. Creep in as many features as you like. Unsurprisingly, feature creep is not a problem when they are paying per feature :-) all of a sudden a whole lot of features go "for the next version".

Will a car battery warranty replace it twice? After 6 months it stopped working, now 2 months later after replacement, it stopped working again. Is it only once or not?

A warranty on a new (first) purchase remains in effect until the expiration of the warranty. This applies to anything you buy. That means if you bought a battery with a 36 month warranty and you experience failures five times in that period, you might get several replacements.HOWEVER, battery warranties are usually prorated. That means for the first part of the warranty period, usually twelve months, the manufacturer will cover the full cost of replacement. Beyond that point, the manufacturer covers a progressively smaller portion of the replacement cost until the warranty expires. So if you have a failure at 9 months, you get a replacement battery at no cost to you. But at 24 months, you might have to pay 50% of the price of a replacement. And most warranties allow for a replacement to be a reconditioned unit rather than a brand new unit. The terms of a warranty cannot be changed by justifiable claims against that warranty. (However, if the manufacturer can show that the product failed due to YOUR negligence, warranty claims can be denied.)P.S. — Have the electrical system of your car inspected by an automotive electrician, to make sure that there isn't a fault that is damaging the battery. In 8 months time you've experienced THREE battery failures (the original plus the two times with the new battery). If you bought an inexpensive or poorly reviewed battery, consider upgrading to a better battery. Even if the manufacturer replaced the battery every time it failed, they won't repay you for the hassle of having dead batteries. Your time and peace of mind are worth something, too.

Dealership wont pay to tow broke down car?

my friend bought a used car at a dealership and its been a week and it broke down. the dealership won't pay to tow the car back and said he has to pay for it himself. is there anything he could do? thanks in advance!

Best Buy warranty on laptop...?

Probably not as it would be considered 'your fault' that your car flooded (dumb I know). It all depends on what kind of coverage you signed up for (when I got my computer I got 4 year coverage, so much so that if I throw a party and someone spills beer on my computer, I get a brand new one). Call best buy and ask.

What is the most you would pay for an extended warranty on a used car?

My experience with extended warranties is not good.We had a Volvo V70 XC, about 5 years old. The extended warranty meant the garage that sold it had a cash cow. The car was in the garage literally every month for the 2 years we owned it. I can not PROVE that they intentionally caused failures, however, the non stop failures made me wonder if they were fixing things that did not to be fixed, or, if they were intentionally misadjusting things that needed “repair”. Of course, every repair was done by them, and they billed the extended warranty seller, every month.. but I can’t prove they caused the issues that needed repair.I had another car with extended ( factory ) warranty, and the dealer told me that car had to sit in their garage because I needed a new battery. Now, the battery had to be a specific, sold by the dealer, battery. No aftermarket battery was allowed! Of course, a new battery was 1–2 weeks away. I raised a stink and went to the head office, and finally had permission to buy an aftermarket battery. When I sold the car, it had 3 days left on the factory warranty, and the motor blew up 1 day later. The factory installed a new motor…

I just bought a used car and now my breaks are squeaking, will the dealer fix for free?

I've only had the car for like 2 weeks. Its an 07 ford fusion and I got it from a legit dealership. I have a two year warranty as well...will they fix my breaks for free? Is there like a 30 day limit?

Can garage charge diagnostic fee for car under warranty?

Car broke down last week, the AA came and did some tests and discovered that while the battery was fine, the alternator was not providing enough current or whatever to charge the battery. I took the car back to the garage (main dealer, but second hand and under warranty - 06 plate) and they stated that they would charge a diagnostic fee - even though it's under warranty. Now, since the AA have told them what's wrong with it (I gave them the AA report with the figures recorded by their test equipment), are the garage justified in charging me for this diagnostic fee?

If they are NOT justified, can you point me to a specific piece of legislation to wave at them? (UK/English law)

Thanks.
