If I Placed My Ear To Your Tummy What Will I Hear

Can my baby hear the music when I put my ear bud on my belly?

I'm asking because I love to hear music on my ipod at work. It's not distracting to my other co-workers.

So I put one ear bud on my belly hidden by my pants, and my other in my ear. So when it's on my belly, my baby is kicking really hard. I'm not sure if it's something I ate or if it's the music. Has anybody had the same thing?

Also, I'm noticing that when I'm driving and have the music on, my baby is very calm and no kicking. Have anybody noticed this?
I'm 27wks and 6days. it's my first pregnancy and I'm loving it!

If I listen to my ipod with earphones will my baby hear it in my belly?

play music at an easy listening level as the baby will feel the vibrations. mine always wanted to roll around or move most when i was sitting or laying down he may just have his days and nights mixed since he can't tell anyway

If you hear a heart beat in your stomach does that mean your pregnant?

No... you can hear your own heartbeat through your stomach, though. The baby is way too small to hear it just by putting your ear up to your stomach.

Today, I just noticed my heart beating in my stomach. I could feel the pulse right there. Is it something I should worry about?

You are a 16 yr old girl and most likely of slim build. The area above your belly button is called the epigastric area that has the hollow organ the stomach unless of course it is after a meal.Quite often when your heart beats fast or even in your case if you are of slim build with a normal heart rate, those heart pulsations are transmitted as waves into your Aorta which is the “main highway” from your heart. By virtue of this, the entire “stroke volume” ie the amount of blood with each heart beat, is contained in this proximal bit of Aorta and the impulse of that wave is transmitted to your epigastric area which you see as the “heart pulsations” in your abdomen, you are referring to.This is perfectly normal and nothing to worry about.Just out of curiosity does this happen all the time or is it periodic or paroxysmal?Other things to know are if you are very anemic or have an overactive thyroid or a leaky aortic valve that can cause a more prominent pulse that becomes more obvious as you have described. You are 16 and if you are otherwise normal and have an active healthy lifestyle and have a good exercise tolerance then I dont think there is too much to worry about.

When i put my ear on my cats stomach........?

that is totally normal. it's just your cat's bowel making sounds as the food gets digested. if you didn't hear anything, that would be bad. just like with humans, normal bowel sounds is to be expected. when you go to the doctor for a physical exam, that's one of the things they listen for...if it's not there or if it's decreased sounds, it may be indicative of an illness or something abnormal. so rest assured, your cat is normal, and is just digesting her food. however, if you do hear loud noises or abnormal sounds, she could have some sort of digestive problems and you should probably take her to your vet.

When can someone hear my baby's heartbeat when they put their ear on my belly?

My husband tried, but he could never hear. We bought something for $20 at Target that let us hear once I was about 28 weeks. There are so many noises from digestion, and blood flowing that are in your tummy, and thick layers of uterus and muscle that I think it's impossible.

Can you hear a baby's heartbeat by putting your ear to the mother's belly at 27 weeks pregnant?

Okay so I'm a little curious. I was with a good friend of mine the other day & she wanted to put her ear on my belly to hear the heartbeat.. Is that even possible at 27 weeks? I remember on the 18th of January my other friend put her ear to my belly quickly cause she caught me off guard but she said she heard the beating?? Though maybe she heard my heart & not the baby's? I'd love to think It's possible! :D So what do you guys think? & If you don't hear the heart? Is that bad!? Or does It just mean the baby is In the wrong position? Or can you hear It from every position, Lol. Sorry so many questions..

Can my unborn baby hear music i listen to through my earphones?

the answer is no..... the baby can only hear the noises outside around ur tummy. he is not connected to ur ears..... and the baby listens through his ears which are in ur tummy....any noises outside in the open goes through to the baby and that too not all sounds and noises. only high pitch noises go through to the baby as theres a layer of ur skin and there's a water bag which filters away lots of noises.
