What is the strangest IIT JEE story?
Not IIT but MAINS.This is my story of JEE MAINS 201515 Minutes before exam paper was distributedI was sitting on my seat and was meditating and concentrating on my exam. Suddenly a guy 6 Feet tall (say Mr. X) came towards me and asked:X- Aur bhai kaisa h? (How are you Brother?)Me- Mein theek hu! (I am fine!) but in my mind I was like Kaun h bhai tu Mein nhi Janta tujhe.(Who are you bro, I don't know you.)X- tayari hogyi? (are you prepared?)I thought if I said yes, then he would disturb me for the whole exam. So to avoid him I tried to speak in Haryanvi language, so that he would think that I am not a studious fellow.Me- Dekh bhai tayari ka ke h? Maine to form bhi na bhara tha berani kab mere baap ne bhar diya aur subah bolya ki aaj paper deke aaiye! (What is preperation man? I didn't even fill the form, my father filled it up and today morning told me to go and give the exam.He got reluctant as I was quite successful in making him feel that I am a dumb fellow!X- Bhai ye side wala hoshiyar lag raha h iska dekh lenge! (The boy next to you looks intelligent we should cheat from him.)Me- Haan bhai sab taap denge! (Yes brother we will copy everything from him!)Bell Rings Suddenly. I was like let me concentrate!<
How do I choose engineering major?
"Always analyze on your interest and work for it, The success would follow your footstep". Don't give priority to college over your interest but the big deal is how to find my interest.Well,*Chemical engineering: - If you had a huge crush on chemistry go for it. As if you like chemical reactions and love the chemistry lab action so it means you are passionate about chemical branch and surely you will have a bright future.Electrical Engineering: -This needs a special talent - Of imagining abstract things purely explainable by mathematical equations. If you get excited about the idea of developing means to control dynamic processes and power supply grid go for electrical.Civil engineering: -If want to live your life more practical and experimental means having an interest in rigid body dynamics and passionate of the building go for it but don't think of placements and job before going in it as you can work as a freelancer or contractor if you love your passion.Mechanical engineering: - If you are good with imagination of 3D objects and have good logical thinking then mechanical is best for you. A very wide job opening as mechanical engineers is found in almost all sections of engineering. The scope of mechanical will be going far better in India in upcoming years.Computer engineering: - If you had taken cs in 11th and 12th then you are the best person in the world to tell whether you should opt for it .It contains the lot of practicals, computer languages, advance level programming and a great stamina to sit in front of computers for hours.From placement point of view, this is the evergreen branch where jobs are easy to get.At last, try to maintain good GPA in college this will help a lot in placement point of view.Hope it helps.
Why does the outside of my car smell heavily of gas right after I fill the tank up? I can't even park it in my garage because the entire garage smells like fuel if I do. Someone told me it's just because it's an older car (2002). Is this dangerous?
I think either your gas cap isn't sealing correctly or your vent hose is cracked / disconnected. You do have a "Check Engine" light, right? OBDII should give you a code confirming that guess.If either is true, it has nothing to do with the age of the car. I have a 1968 truck that doesn't smell like gas when you fill it up, and I know several people with vehicles older than 2000 who also don't have that issue.It's possible that your charcoal canister has failed, too, or you might even have overfilled the tank - cool gasoline in the hot outdoors will expand somewhat, spilling out of the tank. Try not fully topping off the tank (stop the first time the nozzle clicks) next time you fill up.It's probably not dangerous, at least not in the direct sense, unless your car is actually leaking gas and it gets a source of combustion. The fumes in a closed garage, though, won't do you any good - those fumes would contain benzene, which is really rough on your health.
