If Qurran Is Direct Words Of Allah How Come There

How much of Quran is Allah's word ?

Except for outright rejections:-
Fish has a good one line repartee, not answer to my question but good sense of humor.
Luv Peace - No, ending each verse like that which only a disciple would do to his/her God does not make sense. Secondly, if Quran was meant to be revealed to Arabic speaking people only, what all those Africans, Indo-Pakis=B'Deshis, Far Easterns are doing in here.
Green 931 - I feel that a better organized presentation could have attended some of my questions.
Hujan_di - Are you challenging other humans to stand up to prophet for the purpose of comparison ? What happens if they are able to measure up ?
Perry L - A secret code, that sounds interesting. Could you please tell me where I can find some info about it.
Muhammad - With you reading and presentation, I feel that you could have answered the question, if you have related to that.
Vanilla - Question was about language not about change. And I read somewhere that a saint Fatima changed her personal copy, wrongn?

Is idol worship directly prohibited in Quran, or is it just an interpretation of the Quranic directives:"Associate no partners with ALLAH"?

Plz don't get mad at me...i am not stupid either...i will explain!!
I have not read Quran completely (obviously)...but i think there is no direct quote on "idols" ...the "prohibition of idol worship" is an "interpretation"
One of the principal opposition that Islam has against other reigions (exp Buddhism, Hinduism and sometimes Christianity) is that these religions do idol worship
What these other religions have got to say is another matter alltogether.

But my point is does Quran really DIRECTLY oppose "usage" of idols in any manner ...plz I used the word "usage of idols" as opposed to "idol worship, in my qn!

There are several places in Quran where it is implied that people at that time used the consider the idol or an image to be their god....which has been stated as wrong by several others

But this is not what other religions practice now...they don't consider the idol (the stone or the image) to be their god...that being the case how can Islam argue that Quran is against those forms of worship?
Esp when Quran (AFAIK) do not prohibit "idol usage of this kind"

I would thus appreciate if anyone gives any verses from Quran that directly (DIRECTLY) opposes idol worship
Many verses i came across earlier were at best only indirect (hence inconclusive)
For eg: verse 29:25, 29:17, and 14:35 -all were sort of discussions betweeen two people
Verse 4.116, 4.48-all say similar things-no partners for ALLAH

So if u know any better verse..plz inform

Why is the Quran the final, direct, and complete record of the exact word of god?

It’s because you see completeness and precision in it and it underlines all your current living morals. But there are somethings you may not like as well but that too are part of god because god can be both good and evil but it’s all just a phase and you need to let go everything and move on no matter what you have now you may loose it tomorrow but all you have is you and your faith in what you believe

Why do muslims claim that the quran, unlike the Bible, came directly from heaven when we know for sure that?

Sadly most muslims believe false things about the Bible and their own Quran. Muhammad did many things which are against the statutes of God and they believe he was God's prophet. The Bible, God's own Word, is percieved as a corrupt thing by them little do they know there is where else they will find life and the truth but in the Bible.

Concerning the claim that the Quran has never changed:

The Islamic Qur'an was mostly written down from 3rd and 4th hand accounts; and from a few thoughts written on scrap papers, palm leaves and stones --and compiled over 150 years after Muhammad died in 632 A.D. In the Mishtatu ‘lMasabih, chapter 3, we are informed that by the command of the first Caliph, Abu Bakr, the text of the Qur’an was “collected” by Zaid ibn Thabit “from palm leaves and stones and from the breasts of those who had learned by heart” the various revelations." Abu Bakr’s copy came into the possession of Hafsah, one of Muhammad’s widows. Qustalani states that after Hafsah’s death her copy was torn to pieces by Mirwan, who was governor of Medina.

The oldest Qur'an dates from around 790 A.D. (after Jesus), and it is in the British Library. That's 158 years after Muhammad’s death. See corrupted Qur'an here .

Muslims often claim that the manuscript of the Qur'an housed in the Topkapi Museum in Istanbul, Turkey is one of the oldest sources. Muslims say it dates from around 650 A.D. There is an insurmountable problem with this. This document is written in Kufic (also known as al-Khatt al-Kufi) script. Coins in the British Museum show that the first coins using the Kufic script date from the mid to end of the 8th century (750-800 A.D.). The only script used during and after Muhammad's days was the Jazm script. These earliest copies of the Qur'an are written without vowels and diacritical dots that modern Arabic uses to make it clear what letter is intended. In the eighth and ninth centuries, more than a century after the death of Muhammad, Islamic commentators added diacritical marks to clear up the ambiguities of the text.

Now think about this....Islam thinks Christians , Hindu's and Buddhist's do idol worship...but if u ask them...none of them will agree....both Christians and Hindu's will say, they worship ONE.GOD albeit with multpile manifestations

So if u take this for its face value....Christians , Muslims & Hindus's worship....ONE GOD...couldn't it be the same ONE GOD called by different names?
So I feel...unless...Quran says very specifically "no idol worship"...the directives "associate no partnrs for Allah", "worship him alone" need not be taken as against the "form of idol worship that Christianity or Hinduism practices"
Also remeber-In the medievial age...there was indeed a different form of idol worship (the time when Quran came out)...they were worshipping the idol per se and NOT the absolute power to the extent that....if somebody else coms saying that they worship ALLAH (ie the absolute power)....these idol-worshippers would consider ALLAH to be a "rival GOD"-this form of worship is the actual "idol worship"....no-one; except maybe some tribals practice this

So u heard my theory....Now reply honestly to a person who do not know (ie me)...."Does the Quran directly prohibit idol worship? OR is it an interpretation of the statements like:No partners for ALLAH?
