I can't stand pretty women, how can I stop this?
Hi. I'm a 26 year old woman and as much as I hate to admit it, I can't stand women who are prettier than me. Here's why: 1) From school to even the workplace, I've had pretty girls tease or bully me implying that I'm ugly or calling me ugly. Like its okay to be mean when you're pretty. 2) When a lady is pretty, she gets more attention and help from men and others. Even if the woman is wrong, people will take her side and reject you. 3) I grew up with a pretty mother who modeled and I'm constantly compared with her. People didn't even believe it was my mom. 4) I have altered my look like losing weight and haircuts but that still doesn't always make someone into a beautiful woman. Now, I'm not saying all pretty women don't have problems, I just think life is a little easier for them. You can agree or disagree with me but this is based on my life experiences. I hate that I have somewhat hatred towards them, I would like to change my attitude but I feel a lot of them slide or get a pass for being more attractive regardless if they are mean or dumb or whatever.

@ Princess Hope 639–42, when Egypt was invaded and conquered by the Islamic Empire by the Muslim Arabs. When they defeated the Byzantine Armies in Egypt, the Arabs brought Sunni Islam to the country. Early in this period, Egyptians began to blend their new faith with indigenous beliefs and practices, leading to various Sufi orders that have flourished to this day. Was the Cold War inevitable? Why or why not?
I think that the Cold War was inevitable. When there are two countries that are so powerful competing on the world stage to become the next Super Power, things could get pretty ugly. Another thing that certainly contributed to the inevitableness of the Cold War is how conflicting the political philosophies were (Representative Democracy v. Communism), and, therefore, a fear of the opponant on both sides of the conflict. Tensions were extremely high. The fact that both countries were nuclear armed (at that time, among the very few nuclear armed nations) didn't help at all. There was a constant fear that, because there was not at that time a definitive World Super Power (and there were two nuclear armed, powerful nations vying for that title), one of the two nations would use nuclear force to establish dominance over the other. Had only one of the two nations been nuclear armed, or neither, it might have turned out very differently. It is because the U.S. and Russia were competing so intensely to become the World Super Power that people in power on both sides naturally worried that the other side could use nuclear force, and therefore ensured that their own country was positioned to counter such a move.
Do women find a gap between the 2 front teeth attractive or ugly?
Iam 17 and i always had a gap when i was young. I had braces but my gap came back. All my teeth are straight nd fine its just this one gap in between my 2 front teeth. Some people dont even notice it while some say somthing bout it. Do women find this attractive or unattractive?
Was America the bad guy in the Vietnam War?
Yes. First, we supported the French in their fight to hold on to their colony. So in a fight between a foreign colonizing power trying to maintain its hegemony vs an occupied colonized people fighting for their freedom, we sided with the oppressor and against the oppressed underdog.Second, after the Viet Minh defeated the French and liberated their country, we prevented free democratic elections from taking place because we knew the winner would be Ho Chi Minh and his Viet Minh, whom we opposed. I.e.; we stood in the way of democracy/ were anti-democracy.Third, we ensured that instead of a unified country, which was the clear will of the majority (a majority will we made sure would never get expressed in the polls by preventing elections from taking place), Vietnam was split between a nationalist North which, commie or not, had successfully fought to free their country from foreign occupation, and a corrupt US stooge government in the South with little popular support or legitimacy.Fourth, we killed a few million Vietnamese when points one through three resulted in the inevitable war for reunification. And the reunification, by the Viet Minh, still happened despite all our efforts.My Lai MassacreThere were good wars this country fought, and some iffy ones.
