Why cant Girl Scouts donate to non profit organizations?
You can. What you *can't* do is raise funds for another organization. In other words, you can decide to donate part of your dues, or part of the income from your product sales, or just any random amount you have in the account to any organization you choose. But you can't go out and solicit donations for another organization *as a Girl Scout*.

I want to study in a university abroad. I know many universities that offer full funding. Even an admission counselor of a prestigious university told me that they offer full scholarship to all admitted students without any financial ability and informed me that i need to take SAT and TOEFL tests to apply to the university. But the problem is that I am extremely poor without even money to pay for the small home I live in. Thus, I can not pay for standardized tests. Do you know a person or organization that will help me? If you have one percent doubt on giving money to someone then dont give money to them. I will tell first " what you should not do" and "what you should do"what you should not do:dont give money to poors directly because they can misuse of it.dont give money to illiterate people because they also can misuse of it.dont give money to whom you dont trust fully.dont give money to such trust and organisation which is not transparent because you will be not able to see what is happening with your money and also there are many trust and organisations, not all which uses to cover black money and other things.what you should do:give money to such person, organisation where you will be knowing of each penny, where its going. It should be transparent also, always look for that your money is going on that path where you wanted to, its mean for good consequences. The general logic would be that if you have a question or doubt about it, don't give your money away. I'm sure you can put it to much better use and give it to a better known organization that has credentials easliy researchable, more so than asking a yahoo q and a site anyways.
What are the reliable and trustworthy charitable organizations to donate money?
After seeing hell lot of scams in this area, I would like to pen down my opinions here… I have been searching for some trustworthy organization/NGO for a while. Here in Quora, these kind of questions are mostly answered by the ones who run the homes. I have even come across questions where the questions are asked by persons who run the homes and the answers are also penned by them citing their home’s name. (You can find out who asked the question by typing “/log” at the end of the link present in the address bar). I am not blaming everyone who run the homes, but many whom I have come across are looting the major portion of the money that has been donated for the needy kids/old persons out there. Because of this kind of ill mannerism and selfish behaviour of the management, the real losers are the kids/needy ones out there. I strongly condemn this kind of cheap demeanour.I always iterate not to give money to any as charity; instead pay the fee of (parentless/single parent kids), buy them food/clothes, build toilets in Govt Schools/homes, buy groceries to orphanage/oldage/mentally challenged/physically challenged/mentally retarded homes.
