Should I give up on anime?
Ever since I was little I've enjoyed it and I was even named after a character. Over the past couple years I've seen a lot of series I've enjoyed, but I'm the only one in my household who enjoys it. People often ask why I like it and heck, there was one guy during Career Prep who was like, "No more anime" just because the previous couple days after I finished work I would watch AMVs and abridged series. My family wants me to get into other things and shows, but I don't really like them. My grandpa openly insults it and calls it stupid. He's also said that he ought to pull me off of his computer when I watched an AMV one day and often says not to pull up anything weird, referring to the anime. He and my grandmother both think that anything related to anime is going to cause a virus, even when I was just using Hulu which is a site that my aunt uses. I don't really have many other interests (I do enjoy writing, music, philosophy, history, and chatting though) and I guess it's cause of Aspergers; My therapist's said that already. Someday I wanted to write light novels, or a manga and design video games, but should I give up on this stuff?

Depressing, with lots of rain scene anime?
Like the title says, i'm looking for anime that have depressing theme (not necessarily sad).. I'd like it depressing for the whole story, if not, half of it or parts of it is fine too, and if possible there's a lot of rainy scene to it.. summary it have to be depressing like "give up on life", "not everything as easy as it looks like" etc.. for example chihiro arc from the world god only knows, i like it when the rainy scenes, chihiro was as though lost interest struggling in life, like no matter how hard she try, she'll just be average in the end, and with sad piano as background.. it just.. yeah.. i once felt like that too.. So.. if anything comes to your mind please tell me.. i'd appreciate it.. Sad Anime i have watched so far: Air TV (it's sad and depressing) Kanon 2006 Clannad Clannad AS(well, u know how sad and depressing it was, especially usio) 5cm per second(i like how it's so similar in reality) Grave of fireflies(depressing, yeha.. but..) Angel Beats(when the MC start to regain his memories, and the ending) The Place Promised on our early days(after the female MC went coma) Elfen Lied(tragic) Inuyasha(when kikiyo die, and kagura die) Kimi ga nozomu eien(well..) Tengen toppa gurren lagan(i like the uncomplete happy ending) there's still more that i can't remember right now.. Anime i'm about to watch: Saikano Now and Then, Here and There
Should I watch the Bleach anime? Or read the manga? Or both..?
Bleach...its just really a lost cause at this point, I'm disappointed in it as an anime and manga fan and I gave up on it a long time ago. its too drawn out, what they need to do is finish up this series, have Ichigo fight Aizen already and then redo the series only muuuuuuch shorter and less drawn out. I would watch it if they did that but if that never happens than its not worth your time imo
Anime Claymore ending sucked?
Yes i do! The problem with the ending was that it didn't look like the show had enough of a fan base to make a second season and the manga went a different direction and is still going on i think. So the writers had to sum everything up in about the last 8 episodes. P.S. They should at least have done an "afterwards" ova that showed what happened to everyone like a few years later.
