If You Eat A Lot Of Calories At Once Say Like 1000 If Your Don

What if I only eat 300-500 calories a day a few months?

You won't make it for a few months. I have experience with this but nevermind that. The other answers are correct; they describe ketosis. But what you feel? The awful hunger is more than you might think. It's literally all-consuming, and it will keep you from sleeping until you get so tired you oversleep, like hibernate. That's what you will be craving because being awake is painful. 300-500? That's about what I had to go on. What little money I had would go to what I saw as the highest nutritive benefit per moneys: my daily diet would be something like 1 Powerbar and 1 nectarine. I decided that those senior drinks for people who are allergic to chewing, like Boost or Ensure, was better than a Powerbar, and the amount either fills you up is small enough that it doesn't matter.Later I could eat both lunch and dinner at the shelter. So we might be having 1000 calories a day, and I'm describing that, and that's twice as much as you are asking about!  And the dinner wasn't guaranteed, so all this is in that calorie range. So, I described the gnawing hunger. After a while, your brain slows down. Your neurons don't fire as much as they used to, and you think "slower." you get confused and distracted and can't concentrate on one damn thing. You'll get constant headaches. When they are low-level it's tolerable, but they can be pounding.Your stomach will rebel. You won't be able to keep anything down. If you take pills, you'll puke them up. It's nausea, but not the type everyone thinks defines nausea--it's not queasiness. Instead, your gag reflex doesn't really stop. You will take a pill then feel that gag-reflex sensation for a few hours. You'll regurgitate your coffee. The pain in your stomach will "physicalize" and make you cry, so you'll become histrionic and cry a lot. Stomach hurt? Cry. Think of something sad? Cry. Get mad? Cry. Miss your bus? Cry. Can't do your homework? Cry.So yeah, you keep up like that, and your body will start to consume itself. That's why we have fat reserves, and you don't want to start dipping into those. I can only imagine the agony of people in famine.

If you were to take in 1,000 calories at once, would it make you fat?

No it wouldn't...
I don't know what other people are saying....because your food NEVER "turns into fat".
You have a certain number of fat cells and muscle cells in your body, and that number never changes. The cells just grow and shrink accordingly. So, your food cannot turn into fat. ever.

However, the easiest way to gain weight is to eat all of your calories in one meal. (and I'm not talking about just one regular meal, I'm talking 100-2000 calories here) This is because your metabolism slows down so much and makes you gain more weight. You should still eat a light dinner, like veggies or fruit or something just to keep your metabolism going.
But no, I don't think you would gain a substantial amount of weight. Just do some light exercise and keep going with your routine tomorrow.
Most restaurant meals (even seemingly healthy ones, like salads and wraps) are around 1000 calories surprisingly. You'll be fine :)

Is 1000 calories a day a lot?

For a month now I've been on a 1000 calorie diet and I've lost 3kg. I'm surprised, I thought I was eating a lot. Is this a lot if i don't do exercise?
I do walk 1-2.5hrs a day and sometimes go the gym or swim, but that is more like once a fortnight.
So should I reduce my intake to lose weight?
I'm 15, 5"6' and 146lbs.

If I eat 1000 calories and only burn 300 calories a day?

I wont lose weight? People say you need to burn more calories than you eat to lose weight. I eat 1000 calories and only burn 300 calories, well I burn 260 calories on the treadmill and I just add an extra 40 to that just for the breathing and showering and thing's like that. I don't leave my house so I don't walk much. I just jog and fast walk on the treadmill for 40 minutes a day and then do 100 crunches and lift weight for about 3 minutes.

If i eat 1000 calories a day will I lose weight?

I've been overweight my whole life. I'm tired of it, I want to be skinny and pretty. I've never had much self confidence either. I considered stopping eating just for a few days and eating a lot one day and stopping eating again. I considered throwing up after I ate, I considered only eating one meal a day. I realized these would be really bad to my body, and I don't want to hurt myself. Instead I wondered if I ate only 1000 calories a day I would lose weight. Would I? If you're wondering I'm 13, so i can't buy healthy food or take myself to the gym. This is my only option, my parents won't buy healthy food or go to the gym anymore. i don't want to say how much I weigh, but I am over weight I'm not exaggerating that.

Can I lose weight eating 1000 calories?

U sound a lot like me trying to lose 20 lbs & I eat a lot of the foods u eat.:) I'd say ur doin pretty good, but might wanna add some more cal to ur diet thru good sources like lean protein, and healthy fat sources like nuts & avocados, e.g. If u don't eat enough cal ur body thinks its goin into starvation & will hold on to fat that much more. I'd say also eat more fiber like oatmeal cuz will make u feel fuller longer. I'd watch the 100cal snack packs cuz if its cookies e.g. they make up for the fat w/extra sugar sometimes, which just turns into fat on ur bod. Ur exercise regiment sounds good, just remember slow is best in losing weight b/c better chance of keepin it off. Good luck to u!!!!

Eating 1000 - 1500 calories in one sitting?

First of all, there really isnt a reason to be afraid of gaining weight, unless it becomes a problem and youre obese. anyway, you eating a lot after playing basketball for 2 hours is totally normal. after exercising like that for a long time, youre body actually needs those calories to help your body function. so theres nothing to worry about!! :) but please, please please please try to eat more than 400 calories a day. thats extremely unhealthy, and be careful that it doesnt turn into something else. you are beautiful, and there is no reason to worry about your weight :) and please, take it from someone who struggled with anorexia for 2 years, and still is now. get out of it before its too late!

If I eat 20,000 calories in one day, will I gain 5 pounds of fat?

You just can’t make this shit up…Okay…assuming you actually do burn 2500 calories per day (which should be your TDEE), and if you eat 20,000 calories in one day:(20,000 cal - 2500 cal) / (3500 cal / 1 pound fat) = 5 pounds of fat. You’re correct.NOW, HERE’S WHY THE FUCK YOU SHOULD NEVER DO THAT!This dude here, is Michael Phelps. He’s won 23 gold medals and 28 total medals at the Olympics:If you go on a simple TDEE calculator and enter in his stats during the time he was training, he should have been eating about 3700 - 4200 calories. As an Olympic athlete, this dude ate 12,000 calories a day.His diet was 6 times the diet of a normal person (2000 calories on average) and more than twice as much as this dude:Clearly, The Rock has more muscles, he’s 1 inch taller than Phelps (The Rock is at 6′5″), and he’s been working out for 25+ years.Understanding my point here? No? Well, let me tell you something:Don’t fucking eat 20,000 calories in one day!Even a serious athlete like Michael Phelps, or a muscular man such as The Rock, would feel bloated as hell if they amped their calories up to that level. The Rock would eat 4 times as much as he does currently, and Michael Phelps would eat 8000 more calories. Are you a serious athlete? Hmmm, probably not.Your stomach is about the size of 1 liter, but can stretch and expand to up to 4 liters. You don’t want to go overboard, else you will throw it up through your mouth…or through your butthole. On top of that, digesting the food requires more fiber and more water. You’ll practically obliterate your body with more volume of food and drinks. Your stomach may literally explode inside your body. How in the world can you consistently prepare that much healthy or unhealthy food? And do you really have the budget for that? Are you going to sacrifice so much time for that and not hang out with friends or family?5 pounds in one day? And 5 pounds of FAT?Stick to gaining 1–2 pounds PER WEEK. That’s it. And, do it in a healthy way so that you can gain more weight in muscle and less in fat.Not even actors want to gain body fat—they have to for a role. What makes you want to gain fat instead of muscle, and in one day? Your brain needs rewiring.Don’t even get me started on sodium levels, cholesterol, sugars, unhealthy macronutrients, etc.I don’t care if you’re thinking of doing this as a 1 time thing. Don’t do it at all. Period.
