If You Got Hair Dye In Your Eyes Would It Hurt Really Bad

If you got hair dye in your eyes, would it hurt really bad?

Well it's definitely an irritant! Trust me, if you got it in your eye you would know. I don't know about blindness, but I highly doubt trace amounts would do anything to you. I've gotten dye in my eyes before and all it did was irritate them (just remember, the people producing hair dye KNOW it'll probably end up in your eyes).

Some hair dye fell into my eye; how do I take care of it?

INto your eye??? you need to wash your eye out.. yeah itll hurt, but you need to do it.... get a glass of water room temp... small like a shot glass and put it over your eye...open your eye while tilting your head back... it will hurt, making my eyes water just thinking of it, but that will help you.

If I dye my hair should I also dye my eyebrows?

If I dye my hair should I also dye my eyebrows?I don’t recommend coloring your eyebrows to match your hair. It never looks right because eyebrow hair is rarely the same color as your hair is naturally. Permanent hair color, if it gets in your eyes, can cause blindness and seeing as your eyebrows are really close to your eyes, this is a bad idea. And your eyebrows grow out much faster than your hair does, so you won’t have the color change for very long. If you feel that you need to do something to change them because they really don’t match, it’s usually going to be because your eyebrows are much lighter than your colored hair, like if you’re very fair and have blonde or red eyebrows and you color your hair black. In that case, you can always get makeup for this and doing your eyebrows with makeup is really in vogue right now. I’m a natural blonde with darker brows, but they’re sparse and I color my hair red. So I buy eyebrow makeup for people with red hair to fill my brows in and it works really well.

Is the dye at the eye doctor bad for your eyes?

The fluorescein dye is one of many dyed that are used in an eye examination. To be clear, the dye itself cannot numb an eye but must be combined in a single bottle with an anesthetic (the actual numbing agent of either tetracaine or proparacaine.).The common orange dye is useful in many ways. It is use to measure the intraocular pressure, for the fit of a rigid corneal and scleral contact lens and for "dry eyes".There are other dyes. One is red called rose bengal and the other is a green one called lysomine green. Both are useful for dry eyes or suspicion for inflammation of the corneas. Rarely, is methylene blue used in eye work but occasionall a patient may be inadvertently exposed. In summary, dyes are important tools for the eye doctor.

Is it a sin to dye your hair purple?

No i am not going to dye it bright purple because that would hurt some peoples eyes, and hurting people is a sin. How abt a nice soft purple, dont worry, i will look after it.

Is temporary hair dye bad for cats?

What are you - 10 years old? Pets are not toys - they're living, breathing beings. If you want to colour someone else's hair then have mommy buy you one of those Barbie heads

Cats lick themselves. So anything you put on it will be ingested. Who the hell got someone like you a kitten? You're far too irresponsible to own pets.

Would fabric dye dye my hair?

I have done this...I bleached my hair real light with hydrogen peroxide---but plz
plz be careful--it can hurt you if it gets into your eyes--and I used a blue rit dye. The reason I combed a little hydrogen peroxide through was to open the cuticle hair shaft so the dye would take- I also put a hair dryer to the hydrogen peroxide for a few seconds to get the cuticles good and open. And also don't go dip your whole head in the dye...it is thought to cause cancer in excessive amounts-but for bangs its fine---just dont let it get too much or close on your scalp. It will last but slowy fade out in about a month...depending on how much you wash it and how much you scrub-also leaving the rit dye on it longer will make it last too---just don't get it on your forehead and don't use any foil or clips near it-- seran wrap is best if you must use somethingto keep it from hitting your other hair or face. One time I even thought it would be cool to do rainbow hair streaks and it worked pretty good too. I have light blonde hair like you so it makes it easy...if you had brown hair it probably wouldn't look as good. I know--there will be people saying this is dangerous ---well it is if you get it in your eyes or mouth sooo just be real careful. I'm not a specialist- I'm just telling you what I did as a teen. Oh FYI---rit dye works a heck of a lot better than jello dye or coolaid....

Is it bad if bleach splashes into your eye?

Dear god it hurts. I dropped a container with a bleach mixture which caused the solution to hit my face and fortunately my safety glasses absorbed most of the splash. However a few drops got into my eyes and nose. Thanks to my training, I knew to immediately to start using the eyewash. The recommendation is to wash for 30-60 minutes because you really want to remove any residue. There are a lot of stories of people who only wash for 5 minutes and then when they go to sleep, that small drop gets shifted and causes irritation. The hard thing about the eyewash is that the water is frequently cold so you're essentially giving the equivalent of a brain freeze to your eyeballs. As for the damage? You can feel irritation almost right away, good thing that I wasn't wearing contacts that day otherwise that would have really hurt. Within a minute I started having a nosebleed. It's not something I would recommend so follow your safety procedures and using the right safety controls.
