If you could listen to only one song for the rest of your life, would it be Wonderwall by Oasis?

No just no. It is an annoying song by an over rated band.I'd choose between 3 songs if I had to listen to just that song forever.Queens The Prophet Song. The song is great and from what I read the studio tried to push for it being the single for A Night at the Opera.Frank Zappa's Broken Hearts are for Asshole. Immature me can easily listen to the line “ran it up your poopshoot” all day every day. It's a fun song.Gwar's Martyrdumb. One of my favorites off of the Ragnarok album. I could listen to the whole album on repeat but the question limits us to a song.I could easily listen to any one of those 3 if it was the only song I could listen to.

If you could only pick 3 songs to listen to for the rest of your life, what would they be?

Thank you, Ali Mazia, for the A2A !I love music, and if my selection of songs was reduced to three for the rest of my life, it would really suck. Well, I have always loved medleys (multiple songs mashed right after, or overlapping each other) and this has finally paid off! I would start by making medleys with all the songs I like and —*Poof*This is the Supreme Overlord of Hypothetical Quora Questions, and by my decree, using medleys is considered a loophole and will not be tolerated. But, it doesn’t say that in the question!Silence! Loopholing is against the rules *produces rule-book majestically**flicks through the book* It does not say anything here.Gah! Do not argue with me, or I will curse you with edit-blocks and anonymous hate messages for your insolence!*cowering* Okay, okay.Okay, so no loop holes.I would want my three choices to be songs I can enjoy listening time and time again, as well represent as wide of the music spectrum as possible, here goes my listBohemian Rhapsody — QueenSad parts, happy parts, weird parts, this song has got it all. The lyrics are moving, the melody is beautiful and it spans multiple genres, perfect for a scenario like this.Back in Black — AC/DCSomething lively for when I am running, and for rocking out. This song gives me energy and is great fun to sing/scream along to.Spem in AliumThis is probably the only song here that is not that well-known. Spem in Alium is purely vocal, it is sung in forty parts and it is absolutely magnificent. Unfortunately, the song is written in latin (which I don’t speak) so I don’t know what its meanings are. I have always loved listening to choirs, so I need to have at least one choral number in my playlist. The fact that it is ten minutes long is also a plus.In the end, I would be pretty bummed if my playlist just disappeared (I spent ages putting it together) so here is a brief goodbye to my playlist:Although *I am so sick of love songs*, I will be *lost without you* at the *end of the road*. You’ve *shown me the feeling of being lonely*, I miss you, and I will be *right here waiting for you* as the *raindrops keep falling on my head*.

If you could only listen to one band for the rest of your life, who would it be and why?

I’d pick one musician who's had many bands, many changes in musical style, some of the greatest musicians & arrangers ever working for him, a recording career from 1945 to 1991, an artist who's music covers the full range of human emotions, who makes every note count, music that is complex, mellow, upbeat, reflective, complex, intense, acoustic, electronic, experimental, classical and even does the odd pop cover. Miles Davis an artist who has recorded over 30 5* albums, a legacy of over 120 valuable recordings over a 46 year recording career and a legacy that increases every year with more live recordings released. He was revered by his musical colleagues, artists of the stature of Jimi Hendrix, John Coltrane, Bill Evans, Prince, Cannonball Adderley, John McLaughlin, Herbie Hancock, Keith Jarrett and Quincy Jones.John Coltrane & Charles Mingus would be other great choices but Miles would win out because his numerous recordings cover a wider range of styles.

If you were allowed to listen to only 3 songs for the rest of your life, which 3 would you choose and why?

Definitely three songs wouldn't be enough for me because there are so many awesome songs out there:-)Still if sadly had to choose 3 songs then my list would go like this:Inside out by ChainsmokersBecause of its awesome music and lyrics this is one of the soulful songs which reach my heart directly all because of its lyrics and music. This song features Austrian vocalist Charlee, which makes this song more awesome to hear.Truly a type of song for when you feel like chilling but not like dancing. Sometimes a slow type of track makes your day!Up&up by ColdplayI feel it’s a great motivating song with its great lyrics and awesome music.Cheers to last line of this song “When you’re in pain, when you think you’ve had enough,Don’t ever give up”Enough of slow songs. My life is incomplete without one catchy pop song which isCheap thrills by SiaAll because of its catchy music and lyrics which let anyone keep dancing.“Baby I don't need dollar bills to have fun tonight.”Thanks to Sia making this song more amazing.P.S I need more songs only 3 is not enough for me!
