Im 11 The Area Under My Left Eye Is Swallon And At This Point I Can

Im sick and under my eye swells up?

a clean washcloth that has been wet and put in the freezer for a little bit to make it cold will help with the swelling, but sometimes you get something going on with the sinuses and it makes the inside of your eyelids red and swollen and uncomfortable. Perhaps you even have conjunctivitis. A doc could help you, but if you don't want to see a doc, try the cold compress over closed eyes and see if that helps, if not, try a pink eye eye drop that soothes swollen membranes for around 11 bucks that you can get at Walgreens.

Woke up with eye nearly swollen shut?

Yesterday about 11:30, I went to a salon and got my eyebrows waxed for the first time with hot wax. Other than being red and itching a little bit, my eyebrows(and un-swollen eyes) were fine. I went to bed as normal, and woke up with my left eye nearly swollen shut, I have a slight headache and nausea, and my left eye is VERY itchy, not just the eyebrow. I took a benadryl. Is this something I need to go to the doctor/ER for, or should the benadryl help? If it doesn't help, what should I do? Any and all advice is welcome, and thank you in advance!

My eye is swollen from allergies, but why won't the swelling go down?

I am allergic to cats. And I recently spent the day (from 11am to 9pm) at my friend's house, playing with her cat. But I had taken my allergy medication before doing this. So the cat wasn't bothering me at all. Once I got home, I changed and got ready for bed. Then my eye started itching. I itched it and it got swollen, which has happened to me before with cats. I took my allergy medicine like I usually do. The swelling didn't go down for hours. It was still swollen at 11pm and I hadn't even touched it. So I put a cold rag on it and lied in bed for a half an hour. It was STILL swollen. Then i went to bed, thinking it would go away over night. I woke up this morning at 9am, and it was swollen. I took some allergy medication then I took a shower and washed my face, and it is now 10am and and my eye is still swollen completely. Swelling hasn't gone down one bit. What can I do?

My eyelids are swollen?

Puffy eyes are a temporary condition often caused by fluid retention. Changes in your hormones (which can occur during pregnancy or menstruation), or even changes in the weather can cause puffy eyes.

Other things that can cause puffy eyes are lack of sleep, crying, drinking alcohol, eating salty foods, or sleeping on your stomach. Drinking a glass of water as much as two hours before going to bed can make you wake up with puffy eyes. If your puffy eyes are red and itchy, they may be caused by allergies. And, in some cases, puffy eyes are hereditary.

Here are some home remedies that can help you deal with puffy eyes.

Use a cold compress on puffy eyes.

Wet a washcloth with cold water (you can use tap water or ice water), and ring it out. Hold the compress over your puffy eyes for fifteen minutes. (Whenever the compress starts to get warm, dunk it in cold water again.) This should relieve the swelling.

Cucumbers are good for puffy eyes.

For decades, people have been using chilled cucumber slices to take away the swelling of puffy eyes. So, if you have a cucumber handy, give it a try.

Sleeping with your head elevated could prevent puffy eyes.

If puffy eyes are a constant problem for you, try sleeping with a few extra pillows. This may help prevent fluids from accumulating around your eyes.

If your puffy eyes are itching, don’t rub them.

Rubbing puffy eyes will only irritate them, and make them even puffier. So, no matter how much your puffy eyes itch, resist the urge to rub them.

Why is my dog's tongue swollen? I'm really worried!?

If your dogs tongue is swollen, his throat will swell up next. When that happens, he will start having trouble breathing, then he will stop breathing all together and he will die. Is that a risk you are willing to take with your puppy's life? Either get your dog to your Regular Vet or a 24 hour Emergency Vet NOW, or start digging a hole in your backyard to bury your puppy in. You don't have much time to take action. Why are you leaving a 9 month old puppy outside alone and unsupervised? Too many things can happen as you can see in this situation. Your puppy has to be kept inside. When your puppy is outside, then he needs to always be supervised. You better get off your computer, quit wasting time your puppy does not have and get him to a vet NOW, or you will regret it.

Chameleon with a swollen eye, what could cause it?

sorry, this will be a little long, but my 11 month old veiled chameleon has a swollen eye. he has been to the vet twice. once the vet thought it could be a vitamin a defficientcy, which did not help. the second time, a different vet that specializes in chameleons thought it could be an absess behind the eye. he has a pocket of fluid that makes his eye bulge and his eye ball itself is swollen. the vet made a small inscision in his eyelid to let some fluid drain, but its back.

what could be causing the fluid to keep building up? he is on an antibiotic to cure the swollen eyeball but it doesnt seem to be helping with the fluid. what could cause this? im asking because i would like some info to take back to my vet so she can brainstorm with some new info. the eyeball seems to be going down some but the fluid is still present

he has a 5x3x2' screen and wood cage, i mist twice a day and give humidity showers twice a week. he gets crickets, super worms, and the occasional wax worm as a treat. i gutload with a very good home made gutload made by a friend with bee pollen grains and a whole shoppinglist of other beneficial foods and i also feed oranges and flukers water gel. his temperature in his basking area is around 85F during the day and everything goes off at night. he has a reptisun 5. UVB light. i do not use substrate, just linoleum on the cage floor. for supplements i use rep-cal products. calcium (no D3) every other day, calcium (with D3 twice a month), and a multi vitamin once a month. his appetite is seriously decreased right now because of the meds but i put some food in his mouth while i give him his oral med

How do I remove sunken eyes/hollow eyes naturally?

Sunken eyes are a result of laxity of skin around the eyes and atrophy of fat surrounding the eyeballs. These are age related changes and one cannot turn back the clock so as to speak by just taking some herbal treatment or other so called "natural" methods. The picture below gives the difference between a youthful and an ageing face.Another reason to have sunken eyes in the young is when a person loses a lot of weight in a short period of time. When people lose weight they lose weight all over their body including around the eyes. But the good news is it can be taken care of with new age methods. Non surgical treatments for sunken eyes include  Radio frequency skin tightening, Laser resurfacing and chemical peels. These give some benefit but it is not long lasting or 100% effective in all cases. Some of these treatments may not be effective in very severe cases.Mildly invasive procedures include fillers and fat transfer. These give short term benefit and then one might have to repeat the procedures regularly to keep the look.Surgery gives longer lasting and more effective results. Of course no surgery is without risks. One has to be mindful of those when considering surgery. Surgical options for sunken eyes include. Blepharoplasty-upper or/and lower eyelid, brow- lift, Mid-face lift and various other plastic surgery procedures depending on what needs to be fixed. Also be informed that most of these procedures maybe deemed cosmetic unless the doctor can show a medical reason for surgery. For example, an upper lid blepharoplasty may be deemed medical if the sagging eyelids obstructs the field of vision. An ophthalmic plastic surgeon may best advice you regarding what might be the best options for you.
