I will agree that despite its catchy verses, it is not very good, and anyone who still prefers good music is able to escape the cloak of catchy-ness that plagues that song. I know exactly how you feel, to be stuck with radio stations that are obsessed with rap crap and other songs just like that. Musical isolation could be a good term for it I guess, as only a select few stay strong to the music that started it all - ROCK!
What is a good song for 12 year old girls?
Well out of all of those I would narrow it down to- Girls Aloud - "The Promise" The Saturdays - "Up" Sugababes - "Girls" Those songs we're big hits for them and they are their latest singles. I would say to go with the Girls Aloud track. It was number one last week and ever since they performed it on the X-Factor, everyone has been loving it. And the lyrics are very simple and easy to remember.
