They do not look at your picture and resume and go out and try to find you a job. You should give them enough information about your skills and decent photos of you. Almost all agents know where to find out about casting for theater and movies. When these castings are announced they look through their files to see who might have a chance. If you appear to have a chance they will notify you. Until you have found work several times they are not going to go out and try to sell you to a producer. How does someone get a job at the FBI? What’s required: you need to be age 23-37, have a bachelor’s degree, maybe a post-grad degree; you need to have had some kind of career and excelled at it. You need 2 or 3 years of full-time employment, life experience. You must be extremely responsible; we are incredibly autonomous. Most good theatrical agents won't see you unless you're SAG, have a polished resume, and a demo reel. Commercial agents are more lenient about that. I’m 14 and i want to be an actress need advice please?
hi i’m 14 and i know i have some time to think about what i’m going to be. i just have this huge feeling that i want to be an actress really bad and think i actually could be an actress. my plan was to go to college and get a bachelors degree incase an actress isn’t what i turn out to be. but i would move to la and get a part time job so i can pay rent at an apartment and look for acting parts. the only problem is i’m kinda shy but when i’m around people i’m comfortable with i’m very loud. i would like some advice on if i should be one or not and some advice on how to start off and stuff (i do not have any acting experience but i’m think to myself that it shouldn’t be hard and i can be serious when i’m actually on a set) also i know that like only 1 percent make it and stuff.

yes it is. oh and u need a backup plan when u become an actress because if u finished a film or television series and ur not working at the time, u should make money some other way...unless u become like rich.
