Salaries: How much salary a guy can expect with 9+ years of experience in IT industry in Bangalore?
As you have mentioned that they guy has good experience in Java/J2ee and playing lead/ architect role. So he can easily get 40 -45 Lpa. Where 30 -35 LPA can be fixed part and rest can be annual bonus + stocks. There are lot of good companies like Vmware, Adobe, Flipkart, Oracle (some divisions), Netapp, Ariba networks , Amazon which pay in this scale. Startups might pay better but work load can be really high.
