Just found out im nearly 8 months pregnant after negative blood, urine and ultrasound! Has this ever happened?
Ever heard of the show "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant"? Lol. If you had low HCG it wouldn't show up on a urine test. And they may not have checked for it in the blood test; I don't know why they wouldn't, but I also don't know what the factors are for false negatives in blood tests. As for the ultasounds, if they weren't specifically doing a fetal ultrasound and looking at your uterus FOR A BABY then that's why they didn't see it. The ultrasound for PCOS was likely just of your ovaries and vagina. The pelvic ultrasound was most likely just of your pelvis and the baby is up higher than that, even tho it still puts pressure on your pelvis. Baby is in your uterus, and like I said there is a specific ultrasound to look for babies (fetal ultrasound) and it is of your uterus. Sounds crazy but they are very specific about ultrasound orders and will ONLY ultrasound the specific part of the body they are told to and look only for they things they are told to look for. If they weren't TOLD to look At your uterus FOR a baby they wouldn't have and that's probably why they missed it. You should stop smoking and drinking, start prenatal vitamins and healthy eating, and get into the OBGYN right away if you haven't already. Hope everything turns out ok! Congrats on your baby.
