Im A Guy Want To Dye My Hair Black But My Mom Wont Allow Me

I want to dye my hair but mom won't let me...?

"I plan on getting something that is 'out there'"

That's probably why your mom is so hesitant about letting you get your hair colored. I, personally, wouldn't be happy to see my kid, no matter what age, come home with hot pink hair or something, LOL. Maybe you could meet her in the middle? I got my hair colored for the first time when I was 15, I got blonde highlights put in. Mom was fine with that, because it wasn't a crazy color and didn't cover my whole head. Maybe you could ask your mom for highlights, that way it's not your whole head and you could maybe promise her that it's going to be something practical that won't clash with your normal hair color? I'm sure she'd be more open to that.

Edit: Another thing to consider that I forgot to mention before is that when you start coloring your hair, it takes a lot to keep it up. It's expensive to color your hair, and if you don't keep up with it, it'll look awful, so maybe she's worried about the expense of keeping up with it after you do it for the first time.

I want to dye my hair blonde but my mum won't let me im 13!?

i want to do the same :'( my mom won't let me even though i really want to and all my friends say it would look good. none of them have it all of them are brunette but i don't care.

all my life i've been brunette it's like ARHAKLKFSHAA! i want a change. i've gotten blonde high lights before but it's not the same >=(

k i just found this website where you can give yourself a virtual makeover...well the only thing i did is hair, and i tried on a bunch of blonde hair styles. it does look a bit fake, but still, it's great for seeing what shade looks good on you =)

go to

taaz.com

you should find a blonde style that looks good on you, print it out or email it to your mom =) try to find a more natural blonde, like not bleach - blonde, because i think that bleach blonde is what your mom is thinking is bad.
and about blondes being dumb and whatever, i think that's unfair of anyone to say. some blondes are really smart!! and some red heads, brunettes, people with black hair, whatever are dumb. it's not just blondes!! =D

good luck! i think you'd look good with blonde!!!!

Mom Won't Let Me Dye My Hair Black, Because It's Emo?

Hey, I'm 15, and I'm a sophomore in high school, and I can't convince my mom to let me dye my hair black because she thinks it will lead to some 'extreme' emo style.

During the summer, I dyed the sides, and some strands of my bangs black, and I REALLY liked the color. I asked her then if I could just dye all of it, and she told me no. I asked her recently again, right after my friend had dyed his hair black, and she said no, and believed me to be copying him.

He started using eyeliner a day or two ago, since all of his friends thought it would look great on him, and because of that, my mom thinks I'm gonna want to get piercings, eyeliner, and black nail polish after I dye my hair.

I've told her quite a few times that I just like black hair, and it would better suit my style. Technically, I want to go emo, but I don't want the piercings or polish or anything like that, I just think the style looks good. She thinks if I dye my hair black, I will go to extremes, and turn full blown emo, with the extreme personality and everything. She even asked me last night if I was gay, which I'm not by the way. Tomorrow I'm gonna drive to the mall with her, and go to Hot Topic and get a studded belt and maybe a shirt or two. Any ideas to convince her I would look good with black hair?

My mom wont let me dye my hair?

She doesn't say that I am too young, she just says that Its a waste of my money and that I won't be able to take care of it. I am paying for it myself and it is not a waste of money because its something I really want! I will be able to take care of it because i've read about how to take hair of you and I am already very responsible about my hair. I am a very responsible about everything like my homework , pets, and sports. how can i tell her that I should be allowed to dye my hair? I'm not even getting my hair fully dyed! just part of it!!! why wont she let me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

I’m a 20 year old guy why doesn’t my mom want me to dye my hair?

Listen, it doesn’t matter if you're 20, 30 40, even 50 years old. As long as your mom in alive and in your life, she will STILL see you as their baby and would want the best for you. Although you are able to make decisions for yourself because you are an adult, she still will have her best interest for you.

Why won't my mom let me dye my hair?

YOU'RE ONLY YOUNG ONCE, how true, but if you answer as many as I do per day, you'll understand HOW OFTEN I hear questions: why is my hair falling out, why does my hair not growing? For anyone 15 & under with hair loss and giving advice here? Go figure! They've not been where I've been, nor have they answered many questions as I have. I have over 5 decades, they've ONLY JUST BEGUN.

Your mom have been where I have, but before you do any more damage to your hair, go straight to my sources.

HEAT & CHEMICALS are hair's worst enemies, and no hair products can save your hair. They're a billion dollar business, and the hair industry do not give money back guarantee for damaged hair or hair loss caused by abuse. Chemicals can enter the body through the skin. Damaged hair or hair loss ARE NOT THE ONLY SIDE EFFECTS people get from chemicals, EVEN DEATH.

Google: Teen 'feared she would die' after reaction to hair dye
The allergic reaction was caused by a well-known brand of semi-permanent hair dye Chloe used to turn her hair black for a Hallowe’en party. . . . . called for beauty bosses to ban hair dye chemical PPD (para-phenylenediamine) from the shelves. 11-04-11

A WOMAN was temporarily blinded when her face swelled up "like a football" following what she told was a severe reaction to hair dye.
Carmen Rowe, 25, from Swansea was hospitalised for three days after using the Clairol 'Nice n' Easy' natural black colour. She said: "I lost my job, all for the sake of a glamorous hairstyle. I just want to warn parents what could happen." She claimed she carried out a skin test 48 hours before using the dye without a problem and has been colouring her hair since she was 13. My parents wont let me ombre dye my hair?

SO im 14 turning 15, and were im from you have this huge party at 15 kinda like a sweet 16 saying you've turned into a woman. After my sister had her quinceanera she got highlights. Anyways my quince is coming up and i want to Ombre my hair but my parents keep saying no. I tell them that its all natural colors not anything crazy (i want my natural really dark brown to melt in to a very light brown) and that i wont have to touch up my roots because its only half my head. What else can I say to get them to let me dye my hair? ?

Why won’t my mom let me dye my hair? I’m 9 but my friend is 8 and she dyed it so what is so bad about it?

On the off chance this is a legitimate question I will answer this. You’re nine. Can you afford hair dye? Can you afford a salon appointment to dye your hair so you don’t fry it? Can you afford to go to a salon and get it touched up every six weeks or so?Probably not.Now if you are referring to wash-outs dyes that are very popular right now can you afford these? They cost like ten bucks a pop at the drug store. So there is nothing bad about dyeing your hair in general. But it takes time and money to maintain it.Ask your mom for some fun wigs instead! Might be a bigger investment at first but guaranteed no damage to your hair. Or hats.Hope this helps.
