If I am writing a book, what are some good ideas for a plot?

Hard question to answer wit so little info.Disclaimer: If this gets published I want 20% of the earnings from the book and any further earnings derived from the idea below.Plot idea: ( in the year 2065)A man is excecuted by leathal injection and wakes up in another world. He is surrounded by other men who also has been executed. They are Murderers, rapists and they have no idea were they are. They draw the conclusion that they all have ended up in a life after death. Is it heaven or is it hell? They have to stick together as a team and they reason that if they are dead they might have a second chance in this life. Many men have true remorse for their actions. But have the truly changed?Food and water appears mysteriously but it’s scarce. Two families show up and the men are tested. Will they be human or criminal? They think they are dead so the hope they have a chance to reach heaven if they put the family first. Some men fail and get tempted to commit crimes again and they immediately disappear.Three men are left and they protect the family and kids with their life and give them the last food. They have changed. The experiment ends by them slowing drifting into a sleep and they wake up in coffins in a secret lab. They never died but were chosen to be part of an experiment that hopefully would prove that a man can change if put in a situation that permitted change. They are forever changed and set free to have a second chance on life. When they were executed they were merely druged and placed in a remote location and were monitored 24/7 for 3 months. They men that failed the test were executed a second time and this time they truly died.People from all across the globe followed the intense process live during the 3 months. A reality show and all who watched new the plot and experiment.

What if I have no plot ideas to write about?

Short answer, you’re screwed. Haha…I kid.If you’re really out of ideas, do what I call a picture method.Look at this picture I pulled from Pinterest:Now, ask yourself some questions about the picture:Who is she?Who is the man with the hands out? What is the woman doing other than casting some kind of spell or maybe offering a magic item?Who are the men behind her?So that’s just to get you started, but you want to take it a couple steps further:The woman is a queen, the men in the background are her vassals, the dukes of the queendom’s parliament. The man is the protagonist of the story, but she’s casting a spell to execute him. Let’s take this a step further. She’s the man’s sister, but she’s not the villain of the story. This is taking place in a temple of their gods. Their gods are living, interactive beings who have called for the man’s death. So what’s at stake? Why is the Queen executing her brother?Because he is a threat to her claim to the throne. Their mother recently passed away and it is the culture of this nation that siblings are required to eliminate all other claimants. He doesn’t want to fight and kill his sister, so he surrenders. Why are they battling again? Because the Queen Mother died. Many people think the Queen Mother died of old age, but she was assassinated. By one of the dukes who sees one of the siblings as a puppet to manipulate for his own ends. The duke himself has an alliance with another nation who have long since suffered under the Queen Mother’s yoke. They are trying to break free from her influence and maybe renegotiate with a weaker ruler. Now you have the basics of a plot — a foreign power along with a duke assassinates the Queen Mother, sparking the political maneuvering culminating into a final battle between the prince and princess for the throne. Then you’ll want to add in your own twists, characters, and create your own setting.Have fun!

Need some ideas for my plot?

Do you intend to tell one story in a few parts, or a few stories that are connected because they have the same characters? Series can be done either way. If you are telling one story in a few parts, you may need to plan out major events ahead of time and decide which book they should go into. If you're telling separate stories, there's no need to worry about starting the drama too soon. Each story will need its own drama. Are the girls going to be instant best friends, or will that develop over the course of the stories? Is there life outside of the school? (I.e., how were they chosen, is it like a boarding school, do they ever get to leave/sneak off, how is this changing their lives, or is it not really changing much for them, etc.?) How did their teacher get to have little slave/drone followers? Do other teachers get them? Is it like independent study taken to the max? Who on campus has sociopathic issues? Is this a girls' only school (assumed from the high concentration of female names)? What kind of career paths are available to these friends?

Lot of questions, perhaps not a lot of help. Most of the novels I've invented have started somewhere in the middle, and I have to follow a trail of questions that show how a character arrived at the point where I came in and then another trail of questions that show how the character resolves the situation. It's a method that generally results in more books than I intended, but with a lot of detail and workable empathy.

One logical progression would be to start with how the girl arrived at the school/made her friends. This could take up an entire book, especially if Sidney and Diana clash and Sidney doesn't know everything. It could start petty before building to kidnapping/theft, or you could start with major crimes and move on to world domination.

I need some good scary vampire plot ideas?

I need some ideas for a scary vampire story. I suddenly felt like writing one because it's different than other things I've written and I'm tired of writing realistic stories. I want to write more fantasy and creepy stuff. I'm not asking for a whole plot, just a couple ideas to get me started on creating one.

Let me just that I'm not a Twilight fan, and I never will be. When I say vampire I mean, the type that burn in the sun, the scary human like ones that are evil and deceiving. Not that fairy-vampire junk.

Sure, there can be some love on the side, whatever, I'm focusing on getting the horror aspect into it. All ideas are very much appreciated! Please nothing cheesy haha

P.S. I'm not some emo or goth kid. Just a normal teenager wanting to write something different.

Supernatural novel plots/ideas?

I am also doing NaNoWriMo, and I'm also writing a supernatural! *highfives*

Since NaNo has already started, you might already have ideas and have already started, but here are my suggestions anyways.

I have no idea what you mean by legitimate supernatural, but I'll just list things I think fall into the supernatural category and hope something is interesting.

--Since you like angels, you could always do an angels vs demons sort of plot. Which totally has been done before, but honestly, don't let that turn you off. There is plenty you could do to make it your own.
--Also with angels, if your into any type of religious sort of thing, or maybe you could pull it off without religion, you could try doing some sort of guardian angel thing. Whether the angel falls to earth and meets the person they're guarding, or stay up in heaven and just directs and you have the angels view and the persons.
--You could also use ghosts. They could be vengeful evil spirits, or just trying to find their way to the afterlife.
--Also using ghosts, the main character could be a ghost and not know it, and think all the people they're seeing are actually ghosts instead. That could have a sixth sense sort of feel to it.
--Werewolves are beginning to be as cliche as vampires, but you could put a different twist to them. As long as you didn't do a human/werewolf romance you'd probably be ok using them
--If you're interested in Greek myths, you could do a percy jackson type story, and have someone be the child of a greek god, or maybe is new god no one had heard of.

And that's all I have. They're just a few things off the top of my head, so I'm afraid they're just half ideas. They aren't really plots at all. What I've always found to be really helpful, is to look on the treads at NaNo. You can look under the genre Supernatural/Horror, to find some ideas, or any of the adoptable threads as well. :D

Fantasy plot ideas for my novel?

I know this question has been asked WAY too many times before, but I'm not looking to steal your plot ideas. I just want suggestions and vague outlines to get me thinking. In case it helps, here's a little bit about my protagonist...

Annabelle Knight (goes by Anna)
Age: 15, almost 16
Hair: Light dirty blonde, straight, very long
Eyes: Deep, bright blue
Body: Slender and petite, but not short, just a little above the average height; is only slightly muscular, but she's a lot tougher than she looks
Personality: Annabelle is very witty and loves to make people laugh; she always has to have a good time and loves to be the center of attention. She usually thinks on the spot, which almost always manages to get her into trouble, but she can usually talk her way out of it. When she feels that someone has hurt her pride, she immediately snaps back with a hurtful response. Because of this, some people think of her as cruel, but she is actually very compassionate because she can relate to lots of different emotions and situations.

Please remember that this is a fantasy story, so please don't give me ideas like: What if she found a note from a secret admirer in her locker?

As for my writing style, I prefer to do fantasy romances with plenty of plot twists, just to keep my readers entertained and to be sure that my story doesn't become cliche. Oh, and by the way, I love to have boys that would be sure to attract fan girls, which I already have character ideas for, in sort of a love triangle with my main character.

Thanks in advance!
